[full-time] WELDER/ PIPE-FITTER at A Marine Transportation Company

A multinational marine transportation company involved in offshore oil and gas business seek to recruit a Welder/ Pipe Fitter

Responsibilities:

·         To carry out welding construction, maintenance and repairs of all equipment fitted onboard vessels or base

·         Preparation of work permits for approbation

·         Assemble, install, maintain and lay- out pipe system, pipe support etc

·         Ability to weld aluminium  (TIG,MIG) and steel

·         Any other duties as directed by the base engineer

Qualifications:

·         The ideal candidate should be male or female, between the ages of 25-35 years

·         Must be IACS approved certification

·         Must have marine experience

·         Cognate experience as a welder/pipe fitter preferably in the marine industry or oil and gas sector

·         Possession of basic marine mandatories will be an added advantage

·         Honest and hardworking

·         High technical skills

·         Creative and innovative

·         Team oriented and outgoing

·         Ability to work with little or no supervision
