Our Client, an Marine Company in upstream oil and gas is currently looking for a Tender Manager to join their team in West Africa.
The role will involve:
Managing and coaching team of superintendents, engineers, overhaul mechanics and administrative staff;
Preparing a plan for dry docking and technical modification and repairs for the fleet;
Monitoring engineering crew on board and follow-up their technical performance;
Advising and formulating technical budgets for the fleet;
Maintaining and adapting operational procedures to manage the technical improvements on shore an onboard the vessels.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
Able to work under pressure;
Good communication skills in English, oral and written;
Good knowledge of ship operations, ship maintenance and reporting;
Good computer skills in general.
Experience & Education:
Maritime education and sailing experience as Marine Engineer;
General experience in leading projects and staff;
Experience as Technical Manager or Fleet Manager;
Background working as 2nd Eng/Chief Engineer for more than five years.
