HEAD OF STATIONª Strong understanding of radio business

DIRECTOR NEWSª Strong news judgment and good understanding of global newsgathering
ª Excellent communication skills

ª Must have extensive experience in news editing
DIRECTOR MARKETINGª B. sc/HND in Marketing / Business Administration / Mass Communication
ª An MBA or post graduate degree will be an advantage
ª 5 – 10 years cognate experience
ª Membership of APCON or APAN and other relevant professional bodies will also be an advantage
DIRECTOR FINANCE / ADMINª B. sc/HND in Accountancy
ª An MBA or post graduate degree with membership of relevant professional bodies will be an advantage
ª 5 – 10 years cognate experience, a third of which should be at top management position in a reputable broadcast organization or related organization
ON AIR HOSTª Degree in any discipline
ª Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ª Must be smart and intelligent
ª Excellent spoken and writing skills
ª Great analytical skills
ª A creative flair
NEWS ANCHORª A degree in any discipline
ª Not less than 5 years experience as a senior broadcast journalist / reporter
ª Experience of rolling news provision
ª Experience of rolling news provision
ª Evidence of production flair and original thinking in delivering dynamic results
ª Experience of international news gathering and major event coverage
PRODUCERSª A degree in the Arts / Social Sciences
ª Master’s degree will be an advantage
ª Minimum of 3 years experience
ª Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
ª Awareness and understanding of international affairs
ª A creative flair
NEWS REPORTERSª Degree in any discipline
ª 1 – 3 years experience in a similar discipline
ª Excellent communication and international skills
ª Must be smart and intelligent
ª Excellent reporting and writing skills
SPORT REPORTER / PRESENTERª A university degree
ª Excellent knowledge of sports
ª Must possess good writing skills and be a good communicator
ª Excellent command of English language is necessary
MARKETING EXECUTIVESª A degree in Marketing or any of the Social Sciences
ª 1 – 3 yeas work experience
ª Drive and determination
ª Good oral and written communication skills
ª A creative approach to new marketing
ª Good negotiating and interpersonal skills
ª Strong organizational skills
ª Commercial awareness for pricing and analyzing data
ª A high standard of computer literacy
ª A good tertiary degree
BROADCAST ENGINEERSª B. sc in Electronics, Broadcasting or related field and 2 years experience in broadcast engineering which includes equipment, repair and installation or
ª 4 years experience in broadcast engineering which includes equipment, repair and installation
ª Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge skills and abilities have been achieved
ª Cisco Network Engineering Certification
ª Transmitter Systems experience
ª LAN. WAN proficiency
ª Ability to act quickly and pragmatically under pressure to priorities and resolve technical issues
ª Ability to simplify and systematically analyze and evaluate technical problems
ª Ability to communicate clearly with a range of people at different web of the organization and explain and discuss technical issues using a range of styles, tools and techniques
TRAFFIC OFFICERª A degree in any field
ª Must be detail oriented
ª Exceptional organizational skills
ª Strong analytical and problem solving skills
ª Excellent written and verbal communication ability
ª Ability to work within a team in a fast changing environment
WEB CONTENT & SOCIAL MEDIA EXECUTIVEª First degree in Arts related course such as English, English literature
ª Experience in web content / social media management
ª Strong research and internet searching skills as trawling the internet for news sources is essential
ª Sociable, creative with excellent writing and good people skills
ª Ability to work in a team
