1.)  Head of Projects

Duties and responsibilities

Project Management

Oversee all aspects of donor funded project implementation including:
drafting and implementing workplans in consultation and co-ordination with other departments
ensuring all project activities are implemented on time and within budget,
overseeing project budget management,
writing reports, position papers, and updates as required
communicating and coordinating with project partners
communicating and coordinating inputs from teams within MSN
line management of Project Managers
Research, Monitoring and Evaluation
Oversee MSN's Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (RM&E) function

External Relations

Ensure relationships and networks with stakeholders, and relevant private, public and not-for-profit organisations are created and maintained with a view to strengthening MSN's impact and future funding opportunities
Ensure MSN is represented in all relevant health forums, and meetings
Ensure MSN is well represented and respected among key groups including the government, multilateral organisations, donors, relevant academic institutions, and other non-profit organisations

Compliance
Ensure compliance with relevant donor rules and requirements for all projects
Ensure compliance with MSI policies related to fundraising and project management

Fundraising
Identify and discuss with the Country Director, Requests for Proposals (RFPs) relevant to MSN,
Ensure at the project planning stage that all MSN teams are included and consulted,
Write concept notes and proposals,
Identify opportunities for partnerships or alliances that will lead to new funding

Leadership
As a member of the senior management team, demonstrate a strong commitment to MSN’s mission and goals and encourage a similar commitment from all team members
Actively contribute to the strategic direction and planning of the organisation
Encourage a positive culture, work environment and attitude among all team members
From time to time represent the organisation at meetings, workshops, press conferences, or other forums
Any other duty reasonably assigned by the Country Director

Qualifications:
A degree or diploma in development or a related field
At least ten years experience in a project management role for a non-governmental development organisations, at least five of which must be in a senior management role
A strong self drive, excellent leadership skills, together with the ability to develop and build relationships and above all get results.
Highly proficient in the English language, particularly in written work
Excellent writing skills including the ability to create clear concise arguments and motivations
Ability to work to deadlines and motivate other to do the same
Excellent team building and leadership skills
Excellent interpersonal / communication skills – both oral and written
Strong planning and organizational skills
Strong negotiation and selling skills
Strong personal commitment to the mission and goals of MSI


2.)  Sale and Marketing Manager


The Sale and Marketing Manager is responsible for generating consumer demand for MSIN’s products and services and for ensuring that those services are as widely available as possible in Nigeria. The Sales and Marketing Manager will play a key role in MSN’s Senior Management Team and as such will contribute to the strategic management and leadership of the organisation.

Duties and responsibilities:

Product Distribution

Design and implement a sales and marketing strategy and plan for MSN
Sell pharmaceutical products through public, private and non-profit pharmacists and medical facilities.
Wherever necessary contract national, regional, and local distributors and stockists to assist with distribution
Recruit, build up and manage a team of uplifters / detailers to sell products and provide training and support to customers
Investigate markets for other products related to MSN’s core business that MSN could sell through its existing distribution
Ensure that pricing, margins and discounts are set to maximise sales volume and / or income depending on the objectives of the project
Meet quarterly sales / income targets
Ensure that MSN is compliant with Nigerian law with regard to the importation, distribution and promotion of MSN products
Any other duties as required by the Country Director.
Product, and Service Marketing
Design and implement a product marketing plan to maximise sales, and build confidence and trust in the brands
Design and implement a clinical service marketing plan to increase clients at MSN’s clinics and franchisees and build trust and confidence in the MSN and Bluestar brands
Ensure that MSN’s global reputation for clinical excellence is upheld and is projected onto, and supported by MSN’s franchise and products.
Monitor and control marketing spend to ensure that promotions are delivered to budget.

Leadership
As a member of the senior management team, demonstrate a strong commitment to MSN’s mission and goals and encourage a similar commitment from all team members
Actively contribute to the strategic direction and planning of the organisation
Encourage a positive culture, work environment and attitude among all team members
From time to time represent the organisation at meetings, workshops, press conferences, or other forums

Qualifications:

Demonstrate a strong entrepreneurial track record blending implementation experience, business acumen, and strong team leadership skills, together with the ability to develop and build relationships and above all get results.
Significant experience in sales and marketing in the healthcare sector, ideally in the pharmaceutical sector.
Understanding of the law and other requirements surrounding provision of pharmaceutical and healthcare products
Track record of achieving sales, and financial and non financial targets

Personal

3.)  Midwife

Marie Stopes International is establishing a new country programme in Nigeria to meet the reproductive health needs of underserved Nigerians and dramatically improve access to and use of appropriate services. The Outreach Midwife is a key member of the Clinical Services Team and is responsible for ensuring smooth delivery of outreach services.

Responsibilities:
General

To give high quality client-focused care in all services rendered to clients.
To support MSN in its Goal and Objectives where appropriate.
To support and implement core MSI values within the centre, such as de-medicalisation, task shifting, client focus, no blame culture, non-hierarchical management and marketing.
To participate fully in MSN Institutional Strengthening and Capacity Building activities where appropriate.

Clinical
To work closely with other clinical team members in service delivery especially in delegated areas of duty.
To promote the concept of family planning through health education.
To provide high quality family planning counselling and method provision while respecting client’s rights.
To assist in administering drugs prescribed by Doctors.
To assist in compilation of data and preparation of reports including reports of serious incidents.
To assist in keeping the clinic equipment and facilities clean and in good working condition.
To support MSN in achieving its various targets.
To perform any other duties as may be required by the Line Manager.

Requirements
Registered Nurse/Midwife
Relevant Reproductive Health Training in particular, Family Planning and Postabortion Care
At least 10 years post qualification experience, 5 (five) of which should have been in reproductive health service delivery particularly Family Planning.
Experience in delivering Family Planning services to communities often in challenging conditions
Good interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask
