Responsibilities
• Coordinate the effective planning, implementation and evaluation of all programmes nationally
• Direct overall programmatic strategy for the organization
• Supervise all programme and project staff and volunteers
• Conceive of and create and develop new programmes as necessary
• Ensure all current programmes are relevant, meet expectations of stakeholders and have an active support base
• Work with Director of Research and Advocacy to ensure that all programmes are funded and have a sustainable funding base
• Manage alumni and alumni relations to ensure their continuous involvement and follow up
• Assist with other functions and tasks as deemed necessary Qualifications
• Minimum of a Second Class Upper Bachelors degree in Social Sciences, Humanities or Education (Philosophy, Sociology, Psychology, Anthropology, Education or Political Science preferred) or related field from a recognized university. Masters Degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of five years experience in programming in the social sector, preferably with children and youth
• Ability to work under minimum supervision, self-motivating
• Enthusiasm, patriotism, self-confidence, purposefulness, passion and dedication
• Love for Nigeria, Nigerian culture and history and commitment to the advancement of African peoples
