Our client launching into the Nigerian market has specialized in one niche area: delivering high standard tailor-made fleet solutions (Trucks) into some of the world’s most remote areas, in order to help keep their clients’ projects on track reliably, safely and cost effectively.  The company is seeking to position itself for strong profit growth and tremendous patronage in the Nigerian market by strengthening the management team with the appointment of an experienced business executive as, Sales ManagerReporting to the General ManagerYou will be responsible for building positive working relationships with new and existing clients and driving sales revenue through effective managementYou will be expected to develop and maintain focused marketing strategies to meet organizational objectivesYou will be expected to evaluate customer research, market conditions, and competitor data in order to implement marketing plan changes as neededDegree -qualified in Business Administration, Marketing or a related disciplineA Masters degree or an MBA will be an added advantagA minimum of  10 years’ cognate experience in the transportation industry; ideally involved in the sale or purchase of trucksCommercial acumen with experience in growing service businesses into profitable venturesStrong leadership ability, attention to detail and a personal drive for resultsA proven track record of exceeding sales targets within the transportation industryYou will require detailed and up-to-date knowledge about the truck market to excel at this job.
