Company Site Representative
The position will undertake the management of site construction activities for tanks rehabilitation and the coordination of the activities of Company Site QA/QC Inspectors.
Provide leadership and expert roles for site supervision of Tanks Rehabilitation.
Key interfaces include: Foracdos Terminal Installation Manager, Forcados Tanks Rehabilitation Lead and Head, Terminal Engineering & Project,
The Corporate Matrix Project structure provides for the position of Forcados Terminal Tanks Rehabilitation Company Site Representative.
Principal Accountabilities:
Manage site construction activities in cost effective and timely manner, ensuring that planned projects completion dates are met.
Plan, Control and Execute site construction activities in accordance with Company’s Statement of General Business Principles, ensuring full compliance with relevant standards and specification, paying due regard to Safety, Health, Environment, Security, Community Affairs, opportunities and value drivers.
Supervise commissioning activities, ensuring smooth hand-over of facilities to Assets Owners after successful commissioning.
Coordinate the pre-mobilisation Inspection of Contractor’s Equipment and Plant facilities ensuring that they are adequate and safe for work
Review Contractor’s work Plan and procedures including schedules by ensuring that they are workable and conform to approved specification
Coordinate permit to work system with Asset Team in pursuance of safe execution of project
Coordinate site Daily, Weekly and Monthly Project Progress Reports.
Supervise Demobilization of Personnel, Plant and Equipment from site.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Equivalent with a minimum of 10years cogent experience in Rehabilitation of Crude Storage Tanks. Skilled in management of site construction activities with proven ability to manage the interfaces with various stakeholders (Operations, HSE, Security and Community Relations disciplines) during project execution. Capable of managing projects in a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team setting with good English Language communication skills. HSE management of a large group of people and contractors. Proven HSSE management record in a Brownfield construction/concurrent operations environment and the ability to lead by example in this area. Ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop the technical and management skills of site construction team.
