By on Saturday, December 8, 2012 Our client, a leading manufacturing, marketing and installation company with a focus on roofing and flooring materials is seeking to recruit astute and qualified candidates to fill the following positions:1.   Human Resources Manager (Ref 001)·         Responsibilities:
Interact with HR and business colleagues within and outside the business to ensure alignment of HR activity in the spirit of one organization·         Provide input into the talent strategy for the business through developing insight and analysis of people related business issues and opportunities (by activating global solutions, e.g. talent management tools/processes and diversity metrics, etc)·         Collect HR/organization effectiveness metrics and measurement for the business across the entire HR life cycle·         Track delivery against the case for change using analytical and data-driven approaches to business and organizational analysis·         Implement and coordinate change initiatives to support enhanced organizational effectiveness within the business·         Develop and implement the staffing plan for the organization·         Develop and implement the HR budget·         Interface with HR service providers for delivery of core HR services to the business, monitor quality and timeliness of service provision·         Encourage groups and individuals to work collaboratively by focusing on the common purpose of the organizationQualifications and Experience:·         A first degree in social or behavioral sciences (educational psychology, industrial psychology, sociology, organization development).·         Minimum of 8- 12years post qualification experience on a similar role·         Demonstrable knowledge of Industrial Relations with experience in a highly unionized manufacturing environment·         Demonstrable experience across the key processes in the HR value chain which include but not limited to Recruitment, Performance Management, Exit Management, HR Metrics, HR Analytics, Succession Planning etc.·         Good project management skills·         Good organization and planning skills 2.   Head, Company Legal and Regulatory Affairs (Ref 002)·         Provide advisory services on issues that relate to legal and regulatory  requirements and liaise with relevant regulatory bodies·         Manage relationships with external solicitors and ensure compliance with agreed service levels·         Manage all corporate affairs and communications on behalf of the organization·         Draft, negotiate, administer, interpret and advise on .agreements, letters, forms, and other legal documents related to the organization as required·         Participate in the articulation of the organization’s strategic goals and objectives·         Review and authorize all expenditure/transactions of the legal deportment in line with the approved departmental budget and the organization’s manual of authority·         Provide all guidance, leadership support and strategic direction in the execution of the legal deportment’s functions and activities·         Keep abreast of best practices, changes in regulation, amendment of enabling laws and proactively advise the business accordingly·         Must have a first degree in Law (LL.B.)·         A master’s degree (LL.M.) in Commercial Law is on added advantage·         Minimum of 8-10 years post qualification experience which includes a combination of experience in a law firm and the manufacturing /financial services sectors·         Prior experience in business investment transactions·         Membership of relevant local and international associations
