Shell’s sabbatical programme aims to give senior lecturers research knowledge that would be of positive contribution to shell while offering lecturers avenues to gain industry related experience.
The sabbatical Programme also gives opportunities for lectureship in the following departments at the center of excellence in Geo sciences Uniben:
Petroleum EngineeringGeophysic andGeologyThe Sabbatical programme duration is for one year and it’s non renewable.
The discipline areas includes: well engineering Geology/geophysics
Geomatics(Hydrography,surveying,Geoinformation management)
Architecture,environmental and sustainable community development.
Petroleum engineering and production.
The selection Process is based on proposals that are pertinent to SEPCiN(Shell exploration and production companies in Nigeria) business objectives.
The application package should include and application letter,CV containing the candidate contact number, email address, contact address, contact phone number as well contacts of three referees, then one full page summary of how the applicant intends to add value to shell business during the period of the programme.
