An IT company specialized in high quality IT hardware and software in Port Harcourt region is in need of a highly analytical individual, to fill the role of Corporate Sales Manager in Lagos.


CORPORATE SALES MANAGER


ROLE OBJECTIVES:

Develop and implement appropriate Sales Strategies to achieve assigned sales target for the team, while maximising profitability; expansion of customer base/ sign on of new customers in new markets/ industry segments increase in business from existing customers

Exploring and recommending viable opportunities in the market that the company can invest in building capacity

Build and manage an effective Sales team required to achieve the assigned targets, including ensuring implementation of necessary development plan for each team member


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execute all tasks required to generate and grow business opportunities to ensure attainment of given sales target and profitability assigned e.g. penetrate new markets/ industry sectors/ customers

Establish strong relations within all customer accounts, and ensure dealings with the customers is professional

Prepare proposals and contracts for clients and ensure accurate & competitive pricing on all proposals/ quotes submitted,while striving to maintain maximum profit margin achievable

Develop and implement appropriate sales strategies and techniques that would ensure delivery of team on assigned sales and profit target within the allocated market

Manage,direct and work closely with assigned team of sales professional to progress and close deals when higher levels of experience is required

Receive and query daily Sales call memos from team members in order to ensure team is effectively utilising their day to generate revenue

Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential to the management team

Maintain accurate records of all contracts, proposals, quotations, pricings, sales, and payments for all clients i.e all correspondence related to accounts handled

Ensure all orders are promptly invoiced and processed for clients handled

Work with the Finance team to ensure all fulfilled orders are promptly paid for totally

Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance and promptly send all reports required e.g. daily call memos; weekly sales reports; monthly sales reports; etc.

Attend sales meetings, industry trade shows, and seminars in order to gather information on available opportunities,

Promote EHL services,expand network of contacts and increase knowledge.

Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Manage time efficiently and accomplish tasks within set deadlines


KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

A university degree;a relevant Master’s degree would be an added advantage

5-7 years Sales experience in corporate, retail,and/or business-to-business sales

Experience within the IT industry

Established network of contacts in small,medium and large corporations in Nigeria

Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics &requirements


SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Proven relationship management,leadership and interpersonal skills

Proven track record of delivering and surpassing assigned revenue targets

Excellent sales, negotiation and presentation skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills, including command of English

Attention to detail and high level of organisation

Able to work under pressures of deadlines and sales targets


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

Detailed performance goals to be agreed and signed upon commencement of work
