Through our partnerships and investments in technologies such as MPLS, we can now connect our customers to over 220 global cities.  As “West Africa’s Favorite IP Backbone Provider” we are constantly setting new objectives and exceeding them as well.With growth in our business, we seek to recruit a qualified candidate for this vacant position.Position Title: Senior Engineer  To provide overall strategic leadership, direction and guidance for the Region’s operations and activities.  
Ensure completion of all tasks to a high quality standard in compliance with Customer and Company standards and procedures. Provide Installation and maintenance team leadership as directedEnsure completion of projects and other tasks within customer’s location or other locationsEnsure achievement of SLA timeframes for above whilst Provide Installation and maintenance team leadership as required.Coordinate network deployment and support our customers and third party vendors in current and future deployment projects.Coordinate routine O&M procedures as prescribed for the Power &TransmissionCoordinate resolution of repetitive faults affecting BTS radio networkCoordinate the compilation of information on and report on the availability of the transmission network in light of the Service Level Agreement (SLA)Ensure that the details included in the installation procedures are fully understood and properly applied by construction personnel and that all project preparation is in order.Review project planning with a view to improve on the completion date, if possible during implementation. Develop and maintain beneficial and credible business relationships with peers and champion the formulation of strategic alliances/partnership with appropriate businesses/companies.Spearhead Subsys’ relationship management efforts in respect of strategic key customer accounts and other third party interfaces within the region.Define and agree targets as well as monitor and evaluate the performance of Engineers on a timely basis within the region.Monitor and stay abreast of industry, national and global developments, trends and events to ensure Subsys is able to maintain and sharpen its competitive positioning and advantage.Identify and evaluate business expansion and improvement opportunities and ensure the development of required plans to take hold of identified opportunities.Coordinate the selection and procurement of hardware and ensure that they are functional, properly maintained, and able to support the company’s business objectives. Coordinate training/capacity building activities for newly developed application systems.Oversee the maintenance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with various service providers and interact with vendors to identify and resolve problems as the need arises. Review service reports to ensure services are being delivered in a prompt and efficient manner, and technology issues are resolved in accordance with set guidelines.Ensure continuous evaluation of user needs and develop plans to bridge gaps identified.Ensure periodic customer satisfaction surveys are carried out and ensure the development and implementation of plans to meet gaps identified.Coordinate the allocation and distribution of resources and ensure the adequate provision of support services for the entire Groups’ operations.Ensure prompt Quality Assurance review of ongoing projects.Review activity reports to determine progress and status in achieving objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with realities.Perform other activities as directed by Chief Executive Officer.  First degree or in Electrical /Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.Professional or post graduate qualification in related discipline.Five (5) years relevant experience.
