Stanbic IBTC Bank PLC through its wholly owned stock broking and asset management subsidiary, IBTC Asset Management Limited has several excellent mutual funds including the IBTC Nigerian Equity Fund, which is Nigeria’s largest mutual fund with a net asset value in excess of N25 billion (as at December 2007). As part of Africa’s largest bank, it is able to give its clients access to expertise and on the ground presence across the globe, a vital service in the ever increasing global requirements of business. We are currently recruiting for this position.To provide the CIB VAF team with the required Sales and Credit Support on VAF transactions.
Liaise with all CIB relationship Managers attending customer calls on VAF deals in the absence of the CIB VAF Sales team.
Facilitate deal process from origination to conclusion.
Provide Administrative support to the team.
Liaise with the client’s to obtain the required information/documentation to put together a VAF deal.
Analyze and interpret financial statements and take on clients on any issues that need to be addressed immediately.
Facilitate the credit application process for evaluation and obtain approvals (e.g. prepare Pre-Credit Committee papers, provide credit with the preferred VAF structure for the AFF and facilitate credit modifications).
Prepare relevant documentation (Offer letters, Lease Agreements, To Whom It May Concern, Authority to register/release vehicles and other assets, Transfer of ownership, etc).
Ensure that all relevant documents are in place and in the order acceptable to the bank.
Ensure that all title documents are in the custody of the bank (Licenses, Insurance documents, invoices etc).
Ensure that all bank assets are insured at all times. 
Prepare periodic reports.
Ensure pre and post disbursement procedures are in order (as stated in the approved AFF).
Attention to customer enquiries and issues resolved.
Developed and improving relationships with CIB and their customers.
Timely and accurate preparation of documents
Required Skills and QualificationsBsc.
Possess a basic knowledge of the leasing business from origination, processing, administration, marketing and termination.
Perfect understanding of the bank’s processes.
Abreast with VAF Product offerings, good Credit origination skills and other Credit Criteria.
Possess market knowledge/intelligence.
Computer literacy, credit evaluation skills. 
Not less than 2 years experience in equipment finance/credit origination/sales support functionGood verbal and written communication. 
Pays attention to details.
Result-oriented.
Good numerical ability.
Team player.
Excellent presentation skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
