Job Description 
A project(s) leadership with responsibility for:

Pre-tender and general tendering/bidding preparations/activities The Design, Engineering, Construction and Management of all electrical engineering activities. involving direct installation of large scale electrical and electronic equipment or machinery for use in electric power network and systems in most efficient and cost effective manner; EHV transmission lines and/or Substations.Project initial preparations, execution, etc., to completion & defect liability period, visa-a-vie the provision of general direction of work, administration of project site, coordination and supervision.Proper coordination of staff and work in relation to other functional departments: engineering, Procurement, Project construction, Logistics and Administration/Finance departments,Implementation and strict adherence to specifications, standards and procedures for the design, installation/construction, testing and maintenance of large scale Electrical Substation and/or Lines Equipment in accordance with latest and applicable Local and International Standards.The effective communication in projects involving outside utilities, department managers, and the clients, to keep everyone adequately informed of project goals, objectives, schedules, activities, changes/reviews, progress, etcProvision of the overall project management and supervision of engineers, skilled/semi-skilled and construction personnel; organizing each step of the activities.Control, monitoring and evaluation of projects to ensure timely completion within budgeted limits, keeping in mind staff safety, manpower constraints and regulatory requirementsProvision and compilation of all project documentation, "As Built Drawings" & Manuals (operation and Maintenance) and Reports,Strict compliance to company's Quality Assurance System and Policy.Championing of a strong safety culture and implementation of all safety policies, procedures and regulations.Identification and communication of workplace hazards and correction or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions, where necessary.
