As a result of expansion and repositioning, the Group is sourcing for bright and highly driven individuals with groundswell training, education and experience in the following job vacancies for our upcoming BUA Pasta Plant, located at Kirikiri, Apapa, Lagos.</P><P><STRONG>MANAGER, PURCHASING – REF: 0001</STRONG><BR>Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate shall be responsible for:<BR>Control and administration of purchasing activities<BR>Processing of all purchase requisitions. <a href="about:../../" target="_blank">www.nigerianbestforum.com</A><BR>Co-ordination of management’s approval for purchase of consumables<BR>Negotiating and purchasing materials that meet specified quality and quantity at optimal cost<BR>Maintaining an optimum re-order level of stock items and ensure no over-stock and stock-out situation<BR>Planning and implementation of material request to accord with mill operations while maintaining an effective inventory control system to enhance good working capital.</P><P><STRONG>MANAGER, WAREHOUSE – REF: 0002</STRONG><BR>Reporting to the Site Manager, the Warehouse Manager shall be responsible for:<BR>Efficient warehouse operations and accurate record keeping of stock position<BR>Good house-keeping practice (GMP)<BR>Coordinating product storage and consistent stock management and control<BR>Monitoring and receiving products from mill and prepare store receipts notes<BR>Proper labelling of products and conducting stock count exercise as required<BR>Candidates must possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years relevant working experience, preferably obtained in the food and beverage industry</P><P><STRONG>MANAGER, SILO – REF: 0003</STRONG><BR>Reporting to the General Manager, the preferred candidate shall be responsible for:<BR>Controlling and managing the inventory levels within the silos. <a href="about:../../" target="_blank">www.nigerianbestforum.com</A><BR>Controlling the filling and emptying of silos, vessels discharge activities and the loading and dispatch of bulk grain vehicles destined for other mills<BR>Candidates must possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree with at least 5 years relevant working experience, preferably obtained in the food and beverage industry</P><P><STRONG>MANAGER, MAINTENANCE – REF: 0004</STRONG><BR>Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate shall be responsible for:</P><P>Planning and implementation of equipment maintenance strategies to meet milling and allied operations<BR>Supervising the maintenance crew in the execution of their daily tasks<BR>Effective documentation of equipment and facilities for good monitory information and asset care management<BR>Planning and implementation of maintenance requirement and costing in relation to maintenance plan and budget</P><P><STRONG>GENERAL CONDITIONS/EXPERIENCE</STRONG><BR>Candidates must possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (second class honours) or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering from a recognized university or polytechnic</P><P><STRONG>MANAGER, QUALITY CONTROL – REF: 0005</STRONG><BR>The Quality Control Manager shall report to the General Manager and be responsible for:</P><P>Monitoring and controlling of the testing program of raw materials and manufacturing process and equipment in conformity with stipulated standard<BR>Monitoring and controlling the testing programmes of finished goods, enforcing and maintaining standards at all time<BR>Attend to consumer and public complaints on product quality and liaise with government regulatory bodies on matters relating to product quality and environment<BR>Supervise microbiological test and housekeeping/GMP programmes. <a href="about:../../" target="_blank">www.nigerianbestforum.com</A><BR>Work in collaboration with Human Resources and other unit heads to formalize all plant activities/procedures across all business areas<BR>Candidates must possess a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree (second class honours) or equivalent in Biochemistry, Microbiology or Food Science and Technology from a recognised institution with at least 5 years relevant working experience, preferably obtained in the food and beverage industry</P><P><STRONG>MANAGER, FINANCIAL CONTROL – REF: 0006</STRONG><BR>Reporting to the General Manager, the required candidate must be a qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years post-chartered industry experience.
