<P><STRONG>Vacancies:</STRONG><STRONG> Senior Nursing Officer, Nursing Officers I, Nursing Officer</STRONG></P><P>Applications are, hereby, invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the non-teaching vacancies in the following Department /units at the University of  Lafia, Nasarawa State.</P><P><STRONG>Health Centre</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Position:     Senior Nursing Officer</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Salary Scale: (CONUSSS 9)</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Qualifications</STRONG></P>Candidates should be members of the Nurses Registration Council of Nigeria (NRCN) or Nigeria Registered Midwives (NRM) with six (6) years post-registration experience or possess specialist qualification in intensive care nursing, coronary care nursing or public health; orBachelor of Nursing plus three years post-qualification experience.<P><STRONG>Position:     Nursing Officer  I</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Salary Scale: (CONUSSS <img alt="8)" class="wp-smiley" src="/iconcool.gif"> </STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Qualifications</STRONG></P>Candidates should be members of the Nurses Registration Council of Nigeria (NRCN) or Nigeria Registered Midwives (NRM) with four (4) years post-registration experience or possess specialist qualification in intensive care nursing, coronary care nursing or public health; orBachelor of Nursing plus three years post-qualification experience.<P><STRONG>Position:     Nursing Officer</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Salary Scale: (CONUSSS 6)</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Qualifications</STRONG></P>Candidates should possess NRCN or NRM membership.<P><STRONG>Note:</STRONG></P><P>i.        All candidates must possess one of the following as applicable:</P><P>(a) NYSC Discharge Certificate</P><P>(b) NYSC Exemption Certificate</P><P>(c) NYSC Certificate of Exclusion</P><P>ii.       Salaries and Allowances attached to the various vacancies are the same with the approved Salary Scale for Federal Universities in Nigeria;</P><P>iii.      Candidates who are awaiting results need not apply.
