<P><STRONG>Industry</STRONG> Healthcare</P><P><STRONG>Specialization </STRONG>Healthcare / Pharmaceutical </P><P><STRONG>Minimum Qualification</STRONG> Degree</P><P><STRONG>Minimum Experience</STRONG> 1 Year(s)</P><P><STRONG>Application Deadline</STRONG> 2011-10-03</P>National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi-Yaba, Lagos provides effective, qualitative, affordable specialized healthcare delivery and serve as an advocacy centre for injury control and disability prevention in all areas of our specialty including training and research through partnership with all our stakeholders is recruiting and needs qualified candidates to fill in the following position.<B>Job Title:</B> Prosthetist/OrthotistProvides care to patients with partial or total absence of limb by planning fabrication of, writing specifications for, and fitting prosthesis under guidance of and in consultation with physician.<BR>Assists physician in formulation of prescription.<BR>Examines and evaluates patient's prosthetic needs in relation to disease entity and functional loss.<BR>Formulates design of prosthesis and selects materials and components.<BR>Makes casts, measurements, and model modifications.<BR>Performs fitting, including static and dynamic alignments.<BR>Evaluates prosthesis on patient and makes adjustments to assure fit, function, comfort, and quality.<BR>Instructs patient in prosthesis use.<BR>Maintains patient records.<BR>Must Possess a Bachelor degree or HND in Prosthetics/Orthotics from an international society for Prosthetics/Orthotics (ISPO) recognised Institution<BR>NYSC discharge certificate is required<BR>Must have completed his Internship<BR>Candidates should address their applications directly to:National Orthopaedic Hospital,
