They are currently recruiting for the position of Simops Authority, based in Nigeria. </P><P>Job Description: <BR>* Assist RSES & RSES-D in identifying the activities which will be subject to SIMOPS organisation <BR>* Ensure implementation of SIMOPS dossier specific requirements during day-to-day activities <BR>* Ensure that the Field Operations requirements are adequately reflected in the detailed dossier of each SIMOPS prepared <BR>* Lead the Site weekly SIMOPS meeting <BR>* Organising the pre-job meetings with the relevant representatives <BR>* Contributing to ensure that the SIMOPS requirements are implemented by all responsible parties (work permits, safety measures, timing, scheduling) <BR>* Identifying any deviation or potential interaction and proposing remedial actions <BR>* Daily coordination with UPG Project to establish the priorities of planned works and participate in integrating those activities into the Site general activities planning <BR>* Ensure all documents linked to the future activities involving combined activities with Site and Project are properly provided to PTW Coordinator <BR>* Ensure completeness of PTW dossier with PTW Coordinator prior to pass them to Operating Authority <BR>* Participate in Updating the SIMOPS general and technical HSE dossiers <BR>* Participate in the various Risk Assessments for SIMOPS activities <BR>* Ensure the follow-up of the PTW database KPI’s and particularly the closure of Work Permit and the attached complementary permits <BR>* Participate in verifying the working conditions of the safety systems and emergency means available <BR>* Promoting and participating in site inspections and audits </P><P>Skills & Experience: <BR>* Extensive experience in an Oil & Gas Producing or Service Company <BR>* Fluent in English <BR>* Participation in Operations, Commissioning and start-up activities <BR>* HSE experience <BR>* Methodic, rigorous, well organised <BR>* Good communication and intercultural skills </P><P>This is a contract position. </P><P>The rate for this position is negotiable. </P><P>If you feel that you are well suited to the above opportunity and would like to find out more please contact us for more information or apply by forwarding your current CV quoting reference 79359. </P><P>We currently supply over 3,500 personnel in roles including Oil & Gas, Renewables, Power & Utilities, Construction, Mining, Rail, Aerospace, IT & Telecoms, Office and Commercial.
