We are seeking to employ highly skilled and qualified professionals to fill the following position: Senior Sales Manager, Niger Delta<br /><br />Senior Sales Manager, Niger Delta<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">DESCRIPTION:</span><br /><br /> * Oversees the operations of the Business Development Team and business development activities of the Niger Delta Area using Port Harcourt as the base.<br /> * Responsible for organizing, planning, motivating and controlling the Account Managers within Port Harcourt.<br /> * Runs administrative and operational activities of the business area.<br /> * Provides leadership for the entire Niger Delta Area Business.<br /> * Drives Profit and Loss for the business area.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Key Roles and Responsibilities</span><br /><br /> * Coordinate day to day operations of Account Managers and Operations in the business area.<br /> * Consult with clients and potential clients to determine their technology requirements.<br /> * Plan and prioritize personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales – especially managing personal time and productivity.<br /> * Plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.<br /> * Ensures that receivables timelines are achieved in record time.<br /> * Manage product/service mix, pricing and margins according to agreed aims<br /> * Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising and exhibitions.<br /> * Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.<br /><br /> * Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Key Performance Indicators</span><br /><br /> * Improved External & Relationship Management.<br /> * Effective time and resource management for account management.<br /> * % of external customer meetings: improved business development.<br /> * 100% performance on receivables.<br /> * Zero % downtime of tools and assets.<br /> * Actualisation of Strategic business development plans efficiency & Professionalism of the AM team<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Skills/Knowledge</span><br /><br /> * High level of professional skill and knowledge in account/relationship management, marketing, business development and economics<br /> * Strategic management Skills<br /> * Policies and processes development & Implementation<br /> * Leadership and delegation skills.<br /> * People management & Relationship building skills.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Attributes</span><br /><br /> * Must possess astute business and sales acumen<br /> * Must be very confident<br /> * Must possess effective communication skills and business writing<br /> * Strong analytical skills<br /> * Well organized<br /> * Good reporting and time management skills with persistence<br /> * Must be a strategic thinker<br /> * Proactive decision-maker<br /> * Self-starter<br /> * Must be an energetic person with unusual initiative<br /> * Must be resilient<br /> * Sound ethics and integrity.<br /> * Must be discernibly honest and of consistent upright character<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">Experience and Qualifications</span><br /><br /> * A good first degree in Elect/Elect Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or any other related discipline.<br /> * A minimum of 4-5 years post-graduate experience in a similar position.<br /> * Must be above 27 years old.<br /> * A broad knowledge of ICT products and services.
