Position Title: Farm Accountant
Responsibilities: Prepare financial management reports and ensure all financial reporting deadlines are metDevelop and maintain financial data bases and coordinate the audit processEnsure accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expensesPrepare profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reportsAnalyze revenue & expenditure trends, recommend appropriate budget levels. and ensure expenditure controlMonitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completenessInteract with internal and external auditors in completing auditsRequirements: Accounting degree or equivalent and knowledge of auditing practices and principlesMinimum of 6 years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial adviceKnowledge of accepted accounting practices and principlesGood knowledge of financial and accounting software applications Application Deadline
