[full-time] Management Accounts Officer at Guaranty Trust Assurance Plc

Reports To: Unit  Head - Management Accounts

Job Objective: Financial Accounting And Analysis

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
* Taxation Computation
* Review of other debtor, Loss Adjuster and Third Party Claimant ledgers.
* Weekly reconciliation of Finance to relevant underwriting figures.
* Preparation of Monthly Management  Report (MMR)
* Salary schedule review and update of soft copy to the bank
* Partake in the preparation of financial statements
* Preparation of financial models
* Preparation of monthly profitability report (MPR)
* Presentation of the MPR
* Monthly review of Domiciliary Accounts
* Commission payment
* Preparation of FINSTAT Highlights and other financial analysis as required
* Responsible for the opening of ledger accounts.
* Verification of all expenses before payment is made.
* Participation in yearly budget exercise
* Take minutes at MPR
* Pre and post audit review(internal and external)
* Information gathering  for the Insurance industry
* Carry out other duties that may be delegated from time to time by the Unit Head
