Reporting To: Business Planning ManagerPrepare budget formats and standardised forms and worksheets on OFA software and assist in the testing of all calculations.Coordinate and supervise distribution of budgets and related material; respond to a variety of enquiries regarding budget procedures and information needs from a variety of sources.Participate in the coaching of all budget coordinators in other divisions on the budget presentation tools.Assist in budget training for all budget coordinators on OFA and other Budget software.Ensure all department budget coordinators conform to standard budgetary working policies, processes and procedures.Cross-check the accuracy of data received from departments such as assumptions, headcount, organogram and Opex.Ensure that all submissions are realistic and according to company strategy.Assist with critically reviewing and analysing departmental budget requests and make recommendations for approval or modifications; arrange for budget meetings.Respond to queries from departments regarding budget related problems and promptly proffer solutions to emerging problems.Assist in the preparation of MTNN 10 year Business Plan and building the Business Plan in OFA in that the Business Plan becomes automated and Ensuring that Business Plan calculations is accurate and realistic.Assist with the preparation of strategy document according to internal and external Board requirements and Banks.Prepare the MTNN Business Plan PowerPoint presentation to internal and external Board and calculate all the financial ratios to be able to evaluate if the company are going in the right direction.Upload the MTNN non-financial budget on the Group’s database- HyperionCompile the LCO Budget data for Group and benchmark the data against other MTN Operations and suggest any corrective measures to the management.Assist in incorporating sub projects into the Business Plan – scenario running.Assist in incorporating other systems such as Magic with OFA, review that the data is accurate and correct.Facilitate effective budgetary control systems by providing the budget assumptions in explaining monthly OPEX variancesAssist in scenario analysis of the MTNN 5-10 years business planLiaise with budget coordinators to facilitate timely submission of inputsEnsure prompt update of assumption and budget input sheets on OFA.4 Years work experience which includes:Finance, budget or management reporting in a multinational environment
Experience in a Financial Reporting functionA good first degree in Accounting or any other numerate discipline A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA etc) is desirable
