Registrar (location: council’s headquarters in accra, Ghana)

Requirement
Good university degree or comparable academic and/or relevant
professional certificate
Must have had appreciable training and experience in administration in
a related educational setting
At least 15years post graduate experience of which 7years must be in
positions of leadership in equivalent companies
Should not be more than 58years of age on assumption of duty with
seasoned administrators of unquestionable character

Note: serving officers of the council who wish to apply must not be
below the rank of deputy/registrar

Renumeration: Salary very attractive and compares favorably with those
paid to chief executives of other inter-governmental organizations in
the sub-region. There are several fringe benefits attached to the
position, including free accommodation, official chauffeur-driven-car,
education allowance for up to a maximum of 4 children who are in
educational institution, domestic staff paid and annual leave

copies of certificates. The resume must contain the following
informations:

a.      Age, marital status, number and ages of children

b.      Educational certificates, including names of institutions attended with
dates, degree, credentials, diplomas obtained

c.      Working history for the post 15years, quoting names of companies,
position held and reasons for leaving

d.      Academic honours, papers presented and/or published, citations

e.      Hobbies

f.      Names of 3 referees who must be persons of good standing (not relatives)

Note:
Candidates should request their referees to forward their reports
directly to the chairman of council under “confidential” cover

Each candidate must submit a 2page statement of his/her vision and
mission for the council
