A leading Exchange house in Africa is seeking to recruit qualified professionals to fill the following positionJob Title: Head Corporate CommunicationsDevelop and be responsible for the implementation of the corporate communication strategyLead external communications initiatives for key organization milestones to generate local visibility through the media and other channels
Work with the products team and Web-master to push through social media channels
Oversee website content to reflect advancement of the organization and to communicate new initiatives
Serve as a corporate spokesperson
Internal and external communication vetting from and about the organization Own the content management of the intranet and internet portals
Develop technical corporate material
A first degree preferably in Journalism, Communications or a related field
A postgraduate degree (MSc or MBA) is an added advantage
7 years post NYSC experience in public relations
Strong media experience, relationships with reporters and track record of generating positive visibility through the media and other channels
Ability to understand financial information and data and to communicate it in simple terms to media and to other lay audiences
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills, including ability to serve in a spokesperson capacity
Willingness to think creatively and test new and unproven communications initiatives, tools etc.
