JOB DESCRIPTION

An opening exists within our client’s organization for a Siebel CRM Configuration Analyst.
The right candidate will be responsible for the development of Siebel application initiatives and is expected to have good technical and functional knowledge of Siebel Technical Architecture, Administration and Configuration Migration.
In addition, the successful candidate will be required to work closely with the development team and must therefore possess good business analysis skills and the ability to translate business requirements to functional specifications for Siebel solution deployment.

JOB FUNCTIONS
• Elicit and document CRM business requirement.
• Conduct business analysis and translate them to functional specifications.
• Create the ‘To Be’ business process based on Siebel module capabilities.
• Perform gap analysis against Siebel Customer Relationship Management solutions.
• Suggest functional/ business process work-arounds.
• Lead functional prototypes and solution demos.
• Manage Stakeholders’ needs and requirements communications
• Prepare functional acceptance test cases.
• Perform functional testing of the Siebel application.
• Manage and direct new CRM initiatives.
• Review and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations related to proposed solution.
• Support projects throughout the solution development life cycle from establishing vision and scope, to validating requirements in the testing phase
• Participate in the planning and analysis related to conversion of data and integration of various projects.
• Partner with business functions to ensure expectations and requirements are met and managed
• Provide inputs into unit, system and acceptance test plan, and draft user manual
• Review solutions and assist in the change management and user acceptance process
• Identify proactively and report on issues, dependencies, and risks related to the project
• Provide consultation and advice to junior BAs on complex and more difficult assignments
• Be accountable for the implementation of right solutions

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• A Bachelors degree in the field of Computer Science/ Electronic Engineering/ Technology related field
• 8+ years relevant work experience (with 4 years of progressive experience in Telecom Billing & CRM/ Oracle ERP / SAP/Products& Services and 4 years of working on Siebel applications as a Siebel Business Analyst with evidence of participation in each phase of at least three full Siebel lifecycle implementations)
• 3+ years experience in Siebel Customer order management, especially the product configuration, pricing and quoting modules is required.
• Experience in configuring and working with Siebel customizable products.
• Experience in the Product Selection and Pricing (PSP) engine and PSP procedures and workflows (Siebel 8.1 preferred).
• Work experience in a multinational organization is a definite advantage

COMPETENCIES

• Demonstrates a high competency level regarding the development of Siebel applications with effective utilization of Siebel tools
• Siebel configuration experience and proficiency in the following areas; Basic Siebel Configuration of Business Objects, Server/Application Administration, Workflow, EScript, Smart Script, EIM, MVGs, Joins, Links, MVLs , Business Components, Applets, Views, and Integration using EAI and Web Services
• Exhibits confidence and an extensive knowledge of emerging industry practices (including Siebel) when solving business problems
• Possesses knowledge and experience leveraging both IT solutions and business process improvement
• Proven experience with business and technical requirements analysis, modelling, verification, and product management skills
• Possesses knowledge of telecommunication IT infrastructure
• Proven experience of Oracle Product offerings in relation to ERP, CRM, and other Technologies
• Training/Qualification in a recognized analysis methodology (preferably UML/Use cases) and demonstrated experience in creation of Use Case Models utilizing UML
• Strong experience in the Siebel CRM product suite working within the Telecommunications’ domain
• Deep knowledge of Product Modelling, Order Management & Fulfilment, Pricing & Promotion modules
