Job Description Job Title Specialist.IT Architecture Location Lagos,NG Function Job Summary Support the development, maintenance, governance and end-to-end (multi-tier) management of the company?s enterprise systems architecture to ensure availability of adequate capacity in meeting business requirements optimally and sustainably Principal Functions Create, communicate, improve and enable evolution of models and principles which describe the enterprise future-state vision Capture complex knowledge about the business and supporting technology framework and distil knowledge into usable format for everyday business and technology decision support Ensure that new technology is adopted into the IT environment in an organized and strategy-focussed manner by implementing and managing appropriate technology controls Ensure that all deployed technologies in the IT environment work together (integrate) in the best way possible to deliver real value to the business Enforce strict compliance for all changes within approved IT standards and policies to guarantee that the production systems run ONLY authorized and tested configurations Benchmark enterprise IT with best practices Develop and implement mechanism for affording optimal use and re-use of IT resources in the enterprise while eliminating unnecessary duplications Conduct analysis of the current IT environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvement Participate in the definition and enforcement of enterprise architecture policies Implement and manage framework for continuous capacity planning and monitoring with a view to proactively meeting and anticipating business demand across all IT systems Participate in the management of business continuity through enforced standards of document management for requirements, analysis, design, implementation and operations documents Track and evaluate usage statistics of deployed systems and advise on required capacity provisioning actions Educational Requirements First degree or equivalent in Computer Science/ Engineering, Electrical/ Electronic Engineering, or any other numerate discipline Relevant postgraduate/ professional qualifications will be an added advantage Relevant IT and telecoms certifications, such as TOGAF and ZF, will be an added advantage Experience,Skills & Competencies Between three (3) and five (5) years directly relevant post-NYSC work experience in multiple, diverse technology environments and domains including any of technical infrastructure, application development, middleware, database management and operations Ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate: Good understanding of telecoms business and technology models Practical working knowledge of, and hands-on exposure to, key mobile CSP network elements Strong experience in planning, building and running telecoms BSS/ OSS and related platforms Very good understanding of business analysis and project management methods Very good conceptual and analytical thinking Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Job Categories: Telecommunication Jobs .
