Registrar at The National Mathematical Centre (NMC)

The National Mathematical Centre (NMC) is a world-class centre of excellence for Research and Training in the mathematical sciences in Nigeria and Africa. It was established by decree No 4 of 1989 (Cap 58 of the Federation), to promote the teaching and learning of Mathematics of all levels of Nigerian educational system. Its Head office is located at Sheda, Kwali, Abuja with Mathematics Improvement Programmes (MIP) established in some states of the federation. Its activities are carried out in various states of the nation, through the efforts of State Facilitating teams in conjunction with MIP officers in the states.

The Position
The Registrar is the Chief Administrative officer responsible to the Director/Chief Executive, for the day to day administration of the
Centre. By virtue of this position, the Registrar is the Secretary to Council, the Academic Board and other committees of Council.

The Person
The candidate should have over all and in depth knowledge of and wide exposure to the running of a Tertiary institution, He/She should be a person of integrity and trust with proven professional and communication proficiency and should be capable of steering
the administrative ship of the Registry
