We explore, produce and transport crude oil and natural gas; refine, market and distribute fuels and other energy products; manufacture and sell petrochemical products; generate power; and develop future energy resources, including biofuels and geothermal energy.</P><P>Chevron Nigeria Limited hereby invites applications from qualified candidates for employment.</P><P><STRONG>Job Title: Agbami Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor</STRONG></P><P>Requisition Number: 081127994<BR>Locations: Lagos</P><P><STRONG>Responsibilities</STRONG></P>Responsible to achieve the reliability and availability goals set for the rotating equipment.Coordination of major hardware overhauls, exchanges and replacements for all rotating equipment.Promote SERIP, O.E and Reliability processes throughout the DW O&M Group.Demonstrate competency in cmms functionality utilized by maintenance supervisors – embrace Planned Maintenance concept, and have supervisory skills to manage a diverse work force.Hold Health, Environmental, and Safety as a value and champion Incident Free Operation widely among Company and Business Partners through participation and support in safety meetings, safety processes and BBS programs.Focus on operational excellence by optimizing the maintenance work processes, maintaining a streamlined work force, focusing on reliability, and minimizing operating expenses.<P><STRONG>Required Qualifications</STRONG></P>High school diploma or equivalent.Willingness and ability to rotate to project location. Typical rotation is 28×28 days.A minimum of 10 years of experience working in Upstream oil and gas production operations maintenance, 5 of which must be in offshore operations.Expert knowledge in turbo machinery operation and maintenance.GE LM2500+ sac experience.Must have experience working with Allen Bradley PLCs on Turbomachinery – Generators and Compressors.Expert knowledge and experience in Power generation principles and practices.Must have gas boost compressors, water injection equipment maintenance, high pressure gas and water sealing systems, municipal equipment maintenance, LACT system maintenance experience.Experience in RBM, vibration analysis, lube oil analysis and IR thermographic data interpretation.Ability to navigate RxLogix ladder logic.Familiarity with maintenance requirement of Hypochlorite, Oxygen & Nitrogen generation systems and RO based water making and purification system.Knowledge and experience to manage oilfield maintenance and repair of pumps, compressors, HPUs and turbomachinery, utilized in various configurations spanning Crude Oil production, Storage and Export, Gas gathering, compression and reinjection, Salt Water lifting, conditioning and reinjection, advanced power management system, ballasting, marine positioning, cargo offloading and remote bouy.Knowledgeable in vibration data analysis, interpretation of lube oil analysis including tribology and IR data analysis.Ability to analyze, upgrade, and optimize rotating equipment performance.Ability to build solid collaborative relationships and will interface with representatives from multiple support service providers and organizations within Chevron.Fluency in SERIP stage 1 and stage 2 sub processes.Proficiency in CMMS functionality used by maintenance supervisors.Effectively develops and executes critical business processes / plans to deliver facility reliability and availability target results and improve / enhance overall equipment effectiveness.Ability to build and lead high-performance team.Experience supervising large, diverse workforce with varying levels of experience including O&M (hourly employees) and contract workforce.Experience in managing employees in multiple work disciplines and varying work schedules.Ability to provide work direction; manage the PMP process, career planning and pay determination for expat and national personnel.Personal leadership of safety and environmental compliance issues and process improvements.Ensures continuous reinforcement of health, safety, environmental values, Chevron Way behaviors and performance to maintain Incident Free Operation.Champions Safe Work Practices.Identifies and creates opportunity for incremental business results by improving reliability and efficiency of systems.<P><STRONG>Preferred Qualifications</STRONG></P>FPSO operations experienceRelocation Options: Relocation will not be considered within Chevron parameters.International Considerations: Expatriate assignments will be considered.EOE M/F/D/V<P><STRONG>Application Closing Date</STRONG><BR>1st March, 2013</P><P><STRONG>Method of Application</STRONG><BR>Interested and Qualified candidates should<BR><a href="https://www.chevron.apply2jobs.com/ProfExt/index.cfm?fuseaction=mExternal.showJob&RID=27994&CurrentPage=1" target="_blank"><STRONG>Click Here To Apply Online</STRONG></A></P>
