<P><STRONG><a class="highslide" href="http://www.nigerianbestforum.com/job/wp-content/uploads/2012/07/Country-Coordinating-Mechanism-CCM.png"><img alt="" class="alignleft size-thumbnail wp-image-29749" height="73" src=" http://www.ijobplus.com/imagefolder//Country-Coordinating-Mechanism-CCM-150x73.png" width="150"></A>MONITORING & EVALUATION OFFICER, CCM OFFICE, ABUJA</STRONG><BR><STRONG>GRADE:     I    </STRONG><BR><STRONG>JOB ID:  13-5299</STRONG><BR><STRONG>LOCATION: NG-    </STRONG><BR><STRONG># OF POSITIONS: 1</STRONG><BR><STRONG>CENTER/OFFICE: CLM – GENERAL    </STRONG><BR><STRONG>PROJECT/PROGRAM: PLAN-HEALTH    </STRONG></P><P><STRONG>MORE INFORMATION ABOUT THIS JOB</STRONG><BR><STRONG>SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES</STRONG><BR>Support the Oversight Committee (OC) to develop, cost and implement its annual Oversight Plan and integrate into CCM Work plan & Budget<BR>Support the OC to develop procedures & templates for Site Visits<BR>Maintain and Operationalize the CCM Grant Dashboard (DB)<BR>Serve as primary secretarial support for Oversight Committee<BR>Receive, archive and hold available final copies of PU/DRs<BR>Develop Summary analysis  reports of Dashboards, PU/Drs to facilitate OC Oversight meetings<BR>Provide, ad duly document orientation to CCM members and specifically, Oversight Committee members on Global Fund Grant Oversight principles and practices<BR>Provide CCM and OC members with appropriate reports and other information pertaining to national monitoring & evaluation data verification principles and practices<BR>Provide technical assistance and capacity building to PRs/SRs in preparation and presentation of PU/DRs and Grant Dashboards<BR>Provide technical assistance and capacity building to PRs/SRs/SSRs and CCM Secretariat in the analysis and presentation of data for use in grant management advocacy and model application<BR>Participate in, and contribute actively to gap analysis, harmonization, proposal development and grant implementation activities</P><P><STRONG>QUALIFICATIONS</STRONG><BR>Bachelors degree preferably in social and management sciences<BR>Knowledge and experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation<BR>Knowledge of health, reproductive health www.nigerianbestforum.com or HIV/AIDS/TB/Malaria programming in developing countries<BR>Sensitivity to cultural differences and understanding of the political and ethical issues surrounding HIV infections<BR>Ability to work well with others and to develop and maintain compatibility among project staff, subcontractors and recipients of assistance<BR>Proficient in Microsoft Office applications especially Excel and Access<BR>Well developed written and oral communication skills<BR>2-3 years’ experience inMonitoring & Evaluation in reproductive health or HIV/AIDS program in developing countries<BR>Experience working with local partners, including NGOs and CBOs and knowledge of the local context essential<BR>Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities and work independently as well as being a part of a team<BR>Fluency in English, including speaking, reading and writing with the ability to conduct business in English<BR>Experience must reflect the knowledge, skills and abilities listed above.</P><P><STRONG>BACKGROUND INFORMATION</STRONG><BR>Country Coordinating Mechanism (CCM) are central to the Global Fund’s commitment to local ownership and participatory decision-making. CCM are responsible for mobilising resources at the country by organising and submitting proposals to the Global Fund that reflect a gap analysis of national strategic plans.
