Coating Inspector - Nigeria

To monitor surface preparation, coating and cathodic protection related activities done by Contractor and ensure that activities are fully compliant with Project requirements, specifications, codes, drawings, etc.</P><P>2. To ensure that coating & CP record books are properly documented and maintained by Contractor</P><P>3. To be aware of the Project specifications and ensure Contractor compliance in relation with Structure Supervisor</P><P>4. To perform all Company quality inspections relating to coating & CP</P><P>5. To promote application of Company policies, rules, procedures, General Specifications and Project procedures</P><P>6. To identify any non-conformance with Project requirements, report to Structure Supervisor and follow-up remedial action by Contractor</P><P>7. To ensure that approved modifications are implemented and documented for as-built documentation</P><P>8. To be proactive in anticipating events or Contractor’s problems which may affect the successful completion of the Project objectives and inform Structure Supervisor and Site Representative</P><P>9. To assist with making of progress records and other key performance indicators</P><P>10. To produce accurate activity report to Structure Supervisor</P><P>11. To attend Project meetings as and when required</P><P><STRONG>Qualification: B.Sc. chemical or mechanical engineering </STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Professional experience: More than 10 years solid working experience in coating & CP jobs in Oil & Gas</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Experience with offshore structure and piping coating & CP works: 5 years</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Conversant with relevant ASME, AWS and API codes </STRONG></P><P><STRONG>ACQPA, FROSIO or NACE qualification minimum Level 3certified by international body </STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Proven leadership capabilities with strong organizational and coordination abilities</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Autonomous, self motivating and active team player</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Oral and written fluency in English mandatory</STRONG></P><P><STRONG>Microsoft Office proficient</STRONG></P><br /><p><a href="http://jobviewtrack.com/en-us/job/0c169c3cb382883162a33d77d0de3be3.html" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">View the original article here</a></p>
