MzN Experts and Consultants find themselves working in a modern and profession work environment, putting quality of service to NGOs first and supported through innovative work tools.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• Responsible for all livelihoods and food security related activities of both development and emergency response projects • Design projects in line with country strategy and needs on the ground • Supervise and support the preparation of project proposals , projects and reports • Ensure DRR strategies and sustainability/durability are incorporated in ongoing projects and in development of new projects • Provide technical assistance to emergency planning and response teams for needs assessments and to develop appropriate emergency interventions • Monitoring of the projects, internal and external reporting • External representation of the organisationREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS• Degree in a field relevant to food security & livelihoods • Minimum of five years professional experience of supporting food security and livelihood programmes for NGOs • Strong programme/ technical, planning, coordinating, and reporting skills • Proven experience in project design and proposal writing • Experience working in emergency settings or insecure environments • Proven experience in staff management, supervision, staff development, training, and capacity building • Strong negotiation, communication (written and spoken), and interpersonal skills, with experience in managing multicultural teams • Computer literate (MS Word, advanced Excel, email software, internet browsers); GIS desirable • Excellent written and spoken English, professional fluency in other languages is highly desirableMzN | International will evaluate CVs based solely on the above required qualifications.
