The Nazarene Rural Health Ministries is a Non-Governmental Organization with focus and concern on the prevalence of diseases, especially easily manageable diseases as well as mortality from lack of access to medical facilities in several communities in the area constituting the Anglican Communion of Kaduna within the geographical area known as Kaduna State. The Nazarene Rural Health Ministries is looking to recruit various positions listed below for the implementation of donor funded Malaria Project which promotes changes in behaviour, knowledge and attitudes that contribute to malaria prevention. Interventions include: individual and community actions that reduce mosquito habitats; the development of a ‘net culture’ in which nets are valued and used consistently, especially by vulnerable groups; and the adoption of effective treatment-seeking behaviors. The long term aim of this project is to significantly reduce the incidence of malaria in Kaduna State. All positions are fixed term for 2 years.Job Title: Programme Monitoring & Evaluation Officer                        The Nazarene Rural Health Ministry seeks to recruit an M & E officer who will be responsible for all data collection, analysis and learning activities to help ensure accountability and efficiency from start to finish for all projects. The M&E officer will work closely with programme team to assess field conditions, support capacity building initiatives and facilitate the collection of quality data/ quality and timely reports to donor organization. This position reports to the Programme Manager.RESPONSIBILITIES Support all M&E initiatives for assigned grants/Project including monitoring data quality, tracking the progress of activitiesManage/create where necessary framework and procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of projectsSupport in defining and implementing the key performance indicators (KPI) as well as monitoring them throughout the duration of the projects.Manage proper documentation, organize and capture project/programme progress. Prepare satisfactory reports, case studies and examples of best practices.Data management and analysis:Work with programme team to review donor reports to ensure high quality reports are submitted on time for the projectEstablish Log frames, M&E work plans and targets during proposal drafting as well as throughout the project implementationProvide feedback to organization based on quarterly monitoring and evaluation reports and analysis of impact data received on a monthly basis.Lead on baseline survey, internal mid-program review and external end of program evaluations & perform any other task as assigned by the Programme ManagerQUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLSDegree in statistics or any of the social sciences or related fields1-2 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation, working on health projects and of donor funded programmesCapacity to produce high-quality briefs and reportsExcellent computer skills  using word processing programs at a highly proficient level  including ability to operate spreadsheets for data analysis using graphical representations  and statistical data  and word processing programs at a highly proficient levelAbility to design M&E toolsStrong interpersonal skillsJob Title: Programme Officer                           The Nazarene Rural Health Ministry seeks to recruit Programme officer who will be responsible for the project design, providing technical and administrative support relating to implementation of projects. Also providing direct support to community groups, liaise with other local stakeholders and local sensitization of the project to the target groups. Also responsible for establishing the design, Monitoring and evaluation procedure of the projects, improving and developing new projects, if appropriate. The finance officer will ensure all financial and procurement transactions and adhere strictly to the organization’s financial policies and procedures and also prepare and submit financial reports to the organization.
