<P>Kimberly Ryan is currently recruiting for the below Job positions.</P><B><BR>Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientists 2<BR></B><BR>Job Opening ID: 740<P>Location: Nigeria<BR><B>Roles and responsibilities<BR></B></P>Determines calculated results, utilizing testing date by means of manual or computerized proceduresPerform test calibrations and run quality control materials at appropriate intervalsCollect blood or tissue samples from patients, observing principles of asepsis to obtain blood sample.Consult with a pathologist to determine a final diagnosis when abnormal cells are found.Inoculate fertilized eggs, broths, or other bacteriological media with organisms.Cut, stain and mount tissue samples for examination by pathologists.Supervise and instruct other technicians and laboratory assistants.Collect and identify appropriate samplesOperate sophisticated laboratory equipment such as microscopes and cell countersLog data from medical tests and enter results into a patient’s medical recordsConduct chemical analyses of body fluids, such as blood and urine, using microscope or automatic analyzer to detect abnormalities or diseases, and enter findings into computer.Set up, adjust, maintain and clean medical laboratory equipment.<B><BR></B>Analyze the results of tests and experiments to ensure conformity to specifications, using special mechanical and electrical devices.Analyze and record test data to issue reports that use charts, graphs and narratives.Perform medical research to further control and cure disease.Obtain specimens, cultivating, isolating and identifying microorganisms for analysis.Examine cells stained with dye to locate abnormalities.Prepare standard volumetric solutions and reagents to be combined with samples, following standardized formulas or experimental procedures.,Nigeria<B><BR></B><P><B><BR></B><B>Requirement<BR></B></P>A good degree in Medical Laboratory ScienceA higher qualification would be an advantageA minimum of 5 years cumulative experience in medical service delivery, of which 3 years should be in a<B><B>Application Deadline</B>14th May, 2013 </B>You can follow any responses to this entry through the <a href="http://www.jobstoday.com.ng/medical-jobs-in-nigeria/medical-laboratory-scientists-2-at-kimberly-ryan/feed/">RSS 2.0</A> feed.
