Position Summary:
HSE – foster awareness of HSE in all team members
Leadership – provide strong leadership to the entire PMC department
Technical Integrity – take responsibility for the technical integrity of the team, addressing working methods, tools, quality assurance, peer reviews, communication with team members on other projects.
Project Delivery – Identify, analyse and provide innovative execution strategy, solutions and resources to project management, cost engineering, project control, document management, scope change management and planning & scheduling demands for all project teams, customer relations management..
Proposals / BD – support pursuit teams and provide input to bids when requested. Market EcoNomincs, Improve and the capability of the group.
Work Planning – plan and assign workload equitably to the team members. Forecast and initiate workshare and/or recruitment as required for projects.
Training & Development – liaise with NCBD to provide resources, direction, planning and training modules for team members’ professional and career development
Team Management – (liaise with NCBD) to steward the learning & development function, manage career and succession planning in the group, manage team performance, provide input to remuneration setting & review processes, team building, communication.
Administration – monitor non-billable time booked by team, approve various requests raised by team members, minimize team’s overhead cost by providing and utilizing viable cost reduction methods
Budget – prepare, plan and manage the budget for my department
Department KPI’s – Establish matrices and baselines for all department KPI’s, ensure that KPI’s are measured and analysed against baseline and provide performance report to executive management when required.
Project Billing – Ensure that Project Management Team (PMT) issues timely invoices for all projects in execution, review invoice/payment status for all projects, give direction to mitigate shortcomings and proffer solutions to enhance favourable cash flows on project.

Job Requirements
In-depth knowledge and experience in project management and controls for the oil & gas sector for Conceptual/Feasibility Studies, FEED, Detailed Design and Construction Management. Base knowledge of management processes for infrastructure and power is required.
Working knowledge of multi-discipline engineering and design processes for Hydrocarbons and Infrastructure. Sound knowledge of multi-discipline design methods and inter-discipline dependencies & information flows.
Knowledge of cost and revenue analysis for projects.
Industry Specific Experience:
12-15 years experience in Oil & gas Industry managing projects with FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPCM scopes, handling progressively increased responsibilities. A minimum 5-8 years managerial experience managing multi-million dollar projects and or managing project managers…
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Tertiary qualification in engineering (Bachelor’s degree) is mandatory and eligible for Membership of COREN, PMI is a plus
