Position Summary:
Study and understand all company procedures – QMS and Engineering procedures
Know and study applicable standards in design and safety.
Know and study clients’ specifications, safety and design manuals
Assist in basic Pipeline CAD Drafting
Know basic CAD and discipline standard symbols (Valves and fittings)
Understand inter-discipline interfaces by tracking drawings issued for check (IDC).
Know the basic stages of a project and the scope of activities for each stage
Assist superior in Preparing Civil/Structural Deliverables (MTO, Back-drafting, Title Blocks, Indexes)
Know and understand basic Pipeline discipline activities and associated deliverables on a project
Carry out consistency checks on Pipeline Documents (DBR, Drawing Index, Numbering).
Job Requirements
Working knowledge of the latest applicable engineering codes and standards, design practices and design quality standards, Experience in all aspects of offshore projects from front end design through to detailed design, commissioning and handover.
0-3 years of related work experience. (Diploma) in the Pipeline Engineering field. .
Higher National degree in Engineering
Commitment to safe working practices and ability to promote safety consciousness within the department
Have Basic understanding of AutoCad
Requires communication skills to be able to successfully work in a team environment and communicate effectively with other disciplines
