AOS Orwell, an integrated indigenous oilfield services company in Nigeria offering well construction and engineering services to the oil and gas sector, has the following vacancy for a suitably qualified person to join its Process Management Division.
The Operations Manager will coordinate and manage all RIS operations at the base and customers' locations. The candidate will ensure all operations are carried out safely at all times to avoid service quality issues. Allocate human, equipment and material resources for optimal utilisation. Introduce and develop new lines of business such as lifting, tank, rope access inspection. Establish, set up and be fully responsible for functional business lines. Identify and develop new opportunities with the client. Responsible for equipment maintenance. Conduct regular market analyses; deliver technical back-up during bidding and tendering processes.
The candidate must have a good technical university degree or HND. At least 10 years experience in inspection is a pre-requisite. The candidate must be certified to carry out and supervise oilfield inspection services (ASNT Level 2, IRATA, LEEA, Rope Access Certification) as minimum.
Good understanding of the Oil and Gas inspection business is required with an in-depth understanding of modern inspection techniques. Excellent business, sales and marketing skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good management skills.
