Due to continuous growth, we are looking to fill the following positions with motivated, dynamic and proactive individuals who will support the institute in its mission to improve on the quality of technical skills available within the industry.HVAC & BUILDING CONSTRUCTION TRAINERSTo present facilitative, well prepared, organized, and clear lectures in classroom environment and demonstrate and instruct in purpose built workshops in the following disciplines:1.       HVAC2.       ConstructionTo HVAC technicians and building construction artisans consistent with the institute's syllabus and policies·         Proficiency in mathematics·         Proficiency in the English Language·         5 + years experience working as a professional HVAC technician ·         7 + years  technical experience working in the construction field·         Proficient in the use of computers & programs such as Word, Excel & PowerPoint·         Good coaching, mentoring and interpersonal skills·         Effective written, verbal communication &  organizational skills·         Ability to multi-task in fast  paced environment·         Knowledge of relevant health and safety codesKnowledge & skills Requirement:Must have proven advanced experience working on and installing the following:·         Air conditioning split systems, refrigeration condensing units, evaporators and chillers·         Reclaim, pressure test, leak check, vacuum and recharge refrigerant·         Cut and bend copper pipe, braze copper pipe and wiring of refrigerant controls·         Mitsubishi Electric, Daikin, Samsung, Panasonic and Toshiba systems·         407C, 1344, 40A and 410A refrigerantsMust a good general knowledge of methods and practices, tools and materials used in trades and vocations of commercial/Residential Construction:·         Health & Safety·         Basic building code requirements·         Hand and power tools·         Surveying, setting and marking out, taking and transferring of levels·         Formwork, shuttering (columns, beams and slabs)·         Block laying: Mixes and ratios, erect blocks vertical and horizontal·         Plastering: mixes and ratios, external, internal and on ceilings, application of various coats and finishes·         Tiling: preparing walls and floors, marking and working out quantities ·         Painting: preparation, coats and finishes, internal and external on diverse surface types.Application Deadline: 16th May, 2014Method of applications: Candidate should forward their cover letter and CV to: building.services.jobs@gmail.com
