[full-time] Executive Director at An NGO

Description:

An NGO that promotes better healthcare for all Nigeria requires the services of resourceful, experienced and dynamic candidates for the post of Executive Director.

Duties: 

• The Executive Director provides leadership, strategic/technical oversight and management to a multi-disciplinary team working to carry out a diverse range of health interventions to improve the general health and well-being of men, women and youth in nigeria

• He/she will lead in the design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a variety of research, service delivery and capacity building projects, including HIV prevention and care strategies focusing on vulnerable persons and the general population
• Working with partners the appointee will lead and direct the team to develop and manage high quality cost effective health programs which will achieve the expected outcomes and impact on the organizational strategic plan and contribute to national development
• He oversees operations and ensures strong collaboration with government, donors, partners and other stakeholders

Qualifications:

•   Interested candidates must have an MBBS and a master’s degree or its equivalent
•  The ideal candidates must possess a clinical understanding of HIV/AIDS research care and treatment including grants management experience, leadership and team building.
• Strong collaboration management and staff development skills are also essential in order to effectively manage and supervise a diverse range of technical staff
• All positions require candidates that are proficient in the use of Microsoft office suites of computer applications and internet/email
• Significant amounts of travel are required for all positions
