 Our client company is an indigenous property company located in Lagos. As part of the effort to further strengthen its operations, the company seeks to fill vacancies in the following post:

 FINANCIAL CONTROLLER (FC): reporting to the Managing Director

Job Objectives:

To provide leadership in the development and sustenance of skills, competence and capabilities within the finance dept

Analyze the cash flow, cost control and expenses to guide business leaders, financial statements to pinpoint potential goals, objectives, policies and operating procedures.

Coordinate the budgetary process and activities of the company including monthly preparation of variance analysis report. Oversee the approval and processing of revenue, expenditure, department budgets, salary administration, ledger, account maintenance and data entry.

COMPETENCE;

Ability to maintain, establish and institute harmonious working relationship with co-workers, staff and external contract.Demonstrate good presentation skills, communication skills, working effieciency and strong understanding of property regulations and management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 2nd class upper degree in any reputable university. And 3 years cognate experience.Professional qualification in ACCA, ACA is also required, not more than 30-35 years of aged. Experience in research based environments will be an advantage.

INTERNAL AUDIT MANAGER (IAM): reporting to the Managing Director

Job Objectives:

Responsible for the ascertaining soundness, adequate and application of accounting, financial and operating controls.

Develop the Risk Management plan and the Risk Management process of the Company.

COMPETENCE:

Ability to maintain independenceOutstanding interpersonal and presentation skillsExcellent communication skills.analytical mind and good listener to details.

QUALIFICATION:

Degree in Accounting with a minimum of 2nd class upper degree in any reputable university. And 7 years cognate experience of internal and external Auditing in a reputable organization.Professional qualification in ACCA, ACA is also required, not more than 35-40 years of aged. Experience in research based environments will be an advantage.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR (QS):

Job Objective:

Measurement, preparation & pricing of BoQ/BEME for building Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Engineering works for tendering.Cost control of projects in liaison with Accounts/other Technical Dept.Contract Administration including writing contractual letters to Consultants.Preparation of & agreeing project Final Accounts with Consultants. Maintaining the cost and updating cost data from market/specialists prices.Identifying, preparing & defending Sundry Variation / Fluctuation Claims.

COMPETENCE:

Sound computer LiteracyStrong interpersonal skills & ability to learn new skills & work with minimal supervisionGood communication skills and high level of loyalty, integrity & Ethical Conduct.

QUALIFICATION:

Degree/HND in Quantity Surveyor, 5-7 years of experience in related field and any other qualification in MNIQS is desirable. Not more than 30-35 years old.

MANAGEMENT TRAINEE-ACCOUNTS (MT):

COMPETENCE:

Strong interpersonal skills & ability to learn new skills & work with minimal supervisionGood communication skills and high level of loyalty, integrity & Ethical Conduct.Analytical mind and attention to details.

QUALIFICATION:

B.Sc. in Accounting with minimum of 2nd class upper in a reputable university. 2years of cognate experience in the Accounts dept, not more than 30 years old.Successful candidates will undergo 6month probation period after which assessment of their suitability or otherwise would be carried out. Those to be retained would be determined by tfhe outcomes to the post probation assessment exercise.
