The recent merging of Shell Haven, a major Control of major accident hazards site, with Shell Distribution organisation has resulted in the need for a QHSSE Advisor to oversee the planning and delivery of a number of engineering projects, including:
Building a new jetty to receive incoming productDemolition of the bitumen plantRelocation of the control roomPosition Responsibilities
Support facilities, engineering and order fulfillment in the achievement of significant, sustainable improvements in HSE performance and the development of a pro-active HSE culture.Give up to date advice and information to Facilities on current developments relating to HSE issues.Support the implementation of the HSSE Improvement Plan.Investigate incidents as required, including Tripod analysis as appropriate.Provide HSE expertise to projects at all UK / Nordics Terminals.Participate / lead audits as required.Provide HSE awareness training as required.Support the Facilities team with HSSE input to revising COMAH reports and replies to the UK Regulator (HSE).Required qualification/skills
The successful candidate will ideally:
Have an engineering background Msc or PhdPosses a NEBOSH Certificate, the UK’s basic HSSE qualification.When Applying
