Hamilton Lloyd and Associates-Our Client is a leading indigenous conglomerate with business interests in key sectors of the Nigerian economy, including foods and agro-allied, energy (oil, gas and power), infrastructure, real estate and services. Due to internal expansion in Nigeria, they have decided to hire Analyst, Special Projects.

Analyst Special Project

Reports to: Team Lead, Internal Efficiency Head, Special Projects

Job Summary:

Assist the Special Projects Team in assessing and developing business opportunities and expansion initiatives, business planning and the articulation of the Group’s/ Op-Cos corporate strategyAssist the Special Projects Team in developing and monitoring specific initiatives to be implemented at the Operating Company and Corporate Office levelsAssist the Special Projects Team in the assessment, review and improvement of internal business processes for the Corporate Office and the GroupDeliver on other tasks as determined by the Head, Special Projects and Team Lead, Internal Efficiency.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in performing market analyses and assessment of opportunities for the Group as well as attractiveness to the Group’s overall strategic direction.Work with other Group functional roles as may be required to drive assessment of select businesses opportunities identified across the GroupPerform extensive primary and secondary research to build a detailed understanding of the target market, industry, company or opportunityAnalyze and synthesize research findings to develop valuable insights and strategic recommendations for the GroupAssist in the definition/ re-engineering of operating policies and processes, identifying improvement areas and providing support for implementationAssist in developing and monitoring the execution of agreed initiatives in the Group Office and across Op-CosIdentify, collect, organize and analyse data for use during projectsProvide project management for on-going projects and initiativesManage external relationships with Op-Co personnel, service providers and external stakeholders (as required)Facilitate the coordination of meeting/ events logistics, including required correspondencesPrepare team status reports (weekly and ad-hoc).Perform other task as assigned by the Head, Special Projects

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline2-3 years experience in a consulting firm or similar role in any organization
