Our client, a forward looking financial service in Nigeria has mandated us to carry out an Executive recruitment exercise to acquire target driven, qualified and highly experienced individuals for its management level positions.Job Title: DGM/AGM- Chief Technology OfficerThe potential candidates will be obligated to strengthen the organization, build and support each of its units to meet the goals and objectives and ensure consistent achievement of superior results.Lead the delivery of Technology solutions supporting all business functions and consumer services throughout the bankDrive and Lead Technology Delivery of all Strategic Projects for the bank
Contribute to development of Technology business plan for Banking business
Assess Project Risks for Technology and Delivery and work towards mitigating the same Ensure adherence to SLA's and engage business stakeholders for periodic reviews and improvement programs
Responsible for delivery of timely, cost-effective and within Budget, Technology Projects and solutions for the Banking business
Manage the Bank's technology resources and support facilities, including the Bank's mainframe computer system, local, wide, wireless, Internet, and Intranet networks, telephone and Voice Over IP (VoIP) systems, and all related software programs
Plans, organizes, and controls the Bank's day-to-day information technology resource activities; collaborates with the Chief Operations Officer in the overall administration of these directives for the Bank
Ensures the Bank's information technology activities are secure and stable, used to help maximize profits commensurate with the best interest of shareholders, customers, employees, and the public
Develops and implements information technology architecture strategies to accommodate current and future organizational needs
Performs supervisory duties of department staff and coordinates staff for coverage in all related areas of the department.
University degree in the field of computer science, business administration, or another rigorous discipline. An advanced degree in one these fields is a plus.
Good experience working in research and development in a bank or financial services environment
Relevant IT certification
Demonstrated ability to envision web-based services that meet consumer needs or solve business problems.
Demonstrated experience in managing web application development.
Hands-on experience coding in more than one currently popular web application framework.
Familiar with more than one software development methodology.
Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications.
Has contributed to one or more open source projects.
Skill with CSS, XHTML, one or more Javascript frameworks, and AJAX.
Knowledge of web standards.
Experience with UNIX system administration and web server configuration.
Familiarity with technical requirements of Internet marketing and search engine optimization.
Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities and risk management.
Familiarity with consumer privacy and payments industry compliance requirements.
Exposure to business theory, business process development, governance processes, management, budgeting, and administrative operations.
