Job Description Electrical Lead Engineer WTRC02038 Job description Electrical Lead Engineer Currently the Oil & Gas business is developing in Nigeria and for a local FEED project our client is seeking an experienced International Project Manager Oil & Gas. Candidate Responsibilities • Providing overall coordination and support of project engineering activities • Liaise between project management and local engineers • Take responsibility for fulfilling engineering scope, checking calculations and analyses • Take part in the Engineering process regarding critical design decisions and work breakdown • Ensure compliance with corporate and project QMS and HSE procedures • Control project scope, targets and deliverables that support the contractual agreement of the Basic Design and Engineering Package • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans • Take part in multiple workshop sessions with stakeholders and project team members regarding lessons learned, QHSE, telecom IT, Human Factors Engineering for workplaces, cost estimation, ITT preparation and site Peer reviews • Track project milestones and deliverables • Report on progress, issues and concerns, to the project manager • Support ITT bid preparation • Seasoned Engineer with leading capabilities capable of managing a versatile group of local and expat engineers • Strong and clear communicator with strong analytical capability and problem solving “can do” attitude • Self-starter capable of generating engineering output working efficiently towards the project goals Requirements Electrical Lead Engineer Minimum 5 years of Lead Engineering experience in Oil & Gas multidisciplinary Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC, IT, and Control & Automation projects Experience with FEED projects Masters or Bachelor degree in the field of electrical engineering and/or industrial automation Experience in working independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating personality Previous working experience in Nigeria would be highly beneficial Temporary position for the duration of the project (approx. 9 Months) Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management Terms & Conditions Electrical Lead Engineer Project 9 months Rotational Position Location: Bonny Island, Nigeria Company Profile An international company that develops and executes EPC projects worldwide.
