Senior Mechanical Engineer (Living Quarters)

This project is a deep offshore development located in. The development is located 150 km from the coast in 1550 m water depth and includes a, 2 productions loops connecting six subsea manifold with 20 production wells and 3 injection lines connecting 20 water injection wells

The position initially based on resident status in Lagos (Nigeria). Then transferred to South East Asia at EPC Contractor yard at contract award.

Detailed engineering for FPSO expected partly in Lagos and partly in South East Asia

Construction activities partly in Nigeria and partly in South East Asia

Part of FPSO integration to occur in Lagos (including hull appurtenances and some parts of LQ).

Detail engineering for Living Quarters (LQ) will take place in South East Asia and is expected to last for 12 months. Some specific studies may be carried out elsewhere (including in Nigeria) depending on FPSO contractor execution plan.

Assist the Hull Manager during the detail engineering, for finalization of LQ specifications and drawings, selection of vendors, preparation of construction and integration activities

Supervise the execution of the Detail Engineering phase for what concerns LQ in compliance with the clients referential and Contract

Qualification: Degree Mechanical or Civil Engineering

Experience: At least ten years in construction of accommodation modules for offshore or shipbuilding (Engineering companies, shipyard, class society)

Familiar with class requirements, IMO codes

Language: Fluent English & French would be preffered
