This experienced professional will be supporting asset integrity and delivery projects from the front-end through execution and commissioning towards value maximisation. She/He will be responsible for delivering safe,cost/schedule effective and efficient projects; and will be looked up to as important contributors to ongoing projects realization and strategic cost leadership practices within the Deep water Projects organisation. We therefore need competent Nigerian Engineering professionals with deepwater experience who have spent at least 5 years (post-NYSC) focused on practicing the discipline
Job Requirements:
A recognized Bachelors degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline.·At least 8 years experience in rotating equipment engineering.·HSE commitment and leadership, including intervening to stop unsafe behaviours and customary work practices.·Knowledge of existing standards and ability to develop mechanical engineering system functionality requirements for new deep-water development projects.·Solid understanding of rotating equipment across the entire lifecycle, especially commissioning, operating and troubleshooting.·Experience in managing the settings of safety critical element protection systems.·Abilities in a few of the following areas is required: analysis and design ofrotating equipment, equipment specification, dynamic analysis of equipment installed on floating systems, risk and reliability, project planning and economics.·Initiative to implement reliability upgrades using Technical Authority and Management of Change Systems.·Experience overseeing repair work and acceptance tests in supplier facilities.·Excellent computer skills, with emphasis on troubleshooting packages is a requirement.·Excellent PC skills, with emphasis on using process historian systems like PI and SmartConnect to support engineering assessments of machine conditions.·Motivating and coaching less experienced colleagues. ·Collaborate with colleagues in New Orleans, Houston, Rijswijk, Kuala Lumpur, Bangalore and Aberdeen to deliver quality and seamless service to our customers as needed.
