Davis Offiong Consultant Recruiting for numerous Vacancies (7 positions) Davis Offiong Consultants, Our Client, a reputable Organization in the manufacturing sector of the economy requires competent, self-motivated and experienced personnel for immediate engagement for these positions:

1.) Electrical Foreman (CODE IA 001)

Responsibilities The person will among other ResponsibilitiesEnsure efficient and adequate running of the E&I equipment.Fast response to breakdown of E&1 equipment to minimize down time.Carry out predictive and preventive maintenance and ensure availability of the E&I equipment for production use.Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures, No accident & Zero fatality.Learning the related Technology & Training the Junior staff Coordinate with other departments/sections for smooth functioning.IT Skills:
Must be a computer user with good knowledge of Auto card, M-Excel, Power point and word.

Qualification:
A minimum of Bachelor of Engineering and/or HND in EIectrical/Electroni cs/ instrumentation Engineering.

The Person:
Not more than 35 years. Proactive, Self motivated, Disciplined, Assertive, Analytical, very Energetic with good team leadership skills and must be a team player.Experience: Minimum of 6- 12 years, a modern industrial plant experience is an added advantage.Job Skills: Experience in LV & MV motors, switch gear, SF6 breakers smart MCC, transformers and V.F.D's good in studying related drawings, decision making, trouble shooting of electrical problems, knowledge of instrementation is an added advantage.
2.) Electrical/ Instrumentation Engineer (CODE 1A 002)

Responsibilities
The person will among other Responsibilities Ensure efficient and adequate running of the plant equipment.Reduced down time within the department.Coordinate predictive and preventive maintenance and ensure availability of the equipment.Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures, No accident & Zero fatality.Ensure availability of reasonable spare parts with reduced cost.Learn the related Technology & Trained her subordinate.Coordinate with other departments/sections for smooth functioning.Qualification: A minimum of Bachelor of engineering andlor HND in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.The Person: Not more than 35 years. Proactive, Self motivated, Disciplined, Assertive, Analytical, very Energetic with good team leadership skills and must be a team player.Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years, a modern industrial plant experience is an added advantage.Job Skills: Experience in Electrical, Instrumentation in the similar field, study drawings, Siemens S 7-P.L.C. programming, decision making, trouble shooting of electrical/instrumentation problems, spare parts planning
3.) Shift Coach (CODE 1A 003)

Responsibilities
The person will among other Responsibilities Coach shift leaders and attendants in production department for problems seeking and solving.Keep production at the required level and Assure safe coordinating of field jobs with CCRGive the required experience to locals to run the Plant in the future of their own.Any other job as may be designed by the Head of Department.IT Skills: Must bc a computer user with good knowledge of Auto card, M-Excel, Power point and word.The Person: Not more than 35 years. Proactive, Self motivated, Disciplined, Assertive, Analytical, very Energetic with good team leadership skills and must be a team player.Qualification: A minimum of Bachelor of engineering and/or HND Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.Experience: Minimum of 10 years experience in modern industrial plant or 15 years in other Heavy industry.Job Skills: Must have good knowledge about Raw Mill, kiln and cement mill operations, mechanical and electrical installations, auxiliary equipment, lubrication, maintenance, hydraulics, pressure air and burners.
4.) Mechanical Supervisor / Foreman (CODE 1 A004)

Responsibilities
The person will among other Responsibilities Day to day activities planning as per work order, job allocation for the team, fulfil lotto & other safety requirement, supervision of activities and feedback for work orders.Co-ordination and assistance to section engineers (mechanical), pm team members, CCR, E&I, Engineer, production engineer/shift leaders for normal operation & maintenance activities.Planning of spares and recommend to make purchase request.Manpower availability, job distribution and coordination with hr and admin for welfare services.Shut down (weekly/monthly etc ... PMR) jobs supervision and ensure completion of job with safety, quality of workmanship and within stipulated time frame.Self learning, practice variolls techniques for RCAEnsure safety instructions are followed by the team.IT Skills: Must be a computer user with good knowledge of Auto card. M-Excel, Power point and word.Qualification: A minimum of HND in Mechanical Engineering.The Person: Not more than 35 years. Proactive, Self motivated, Disciplined, Assertive, Analytical, very Energetic with good team leadership skills and must be a team player.Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years, a modern industrial plant experience is an added advantage.Job Skills: Mechanical maintenance of cement plant machineries like belt conveyors, screw conveyors, separators, ball mills, filter bags, hydraulic system, pneumatics systems, air blowers, air sluices, air slides, chain bucket elevators, etc.Must have practical expcrience related to ball mill operation & maintenance, able to check the bearing clearance & condition, knowledge of ccment plant equipment (stated above) maintenance activities.Basic leadership qualities to supervise group of bottom line people.Also, basic knowledge related to safety (materialliffing & shifting), lotto is a must. Experience in cement plant is preferred.
5.) Electrical/InstrumentationTechnician (CODE 1A 005)

Responsibilities
The person will among other Responsibilities Ensure efficient and adequate running of the E&I equipment.Fast response to breakdown of E&I cquipment to minimize down timc.Carry out predictive and preventive maintenance and ensure availability of the E&l equipment for production use.Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures, No accident & Zero fatality.Learning the related Technology & Training the Junior staff.Coordinate with other departments/scctions for smooth functioning.Qualification: A minimum of Diploma or HND in ElectTical/Electronics/lnstrumentation Engineering.The Person: Not more than 35 years. Proactive, Self motivated, Disciplined, Assertive, Analytical, very Energetic with good team leadership skills and must be a team player.Experience: Minimum of 3-8 years, a modern industrial plant experience is preferred.Job Skills: Must have experience in similar field, basic knowledge of LV &MV motors, switch gear, pIc, good in studying related drawings, decision making, trouble shooting of electrical problems, knowledge of instrumentation and automation is essential.6.) Mechanical Technician (CODE 1A 006)

Responsibilities
The person will among other Responsibilities Execution of planned and unplanned maintenance activities assigned based on plarming.Observations of non-normal behaviour of equipment and corrective actions.Safety of all personnel when working as a team member for equipment maintenance.Proper handling of spare parts assemblies and repair actions.Upkeep of tools & tackles, assistance for house keeping activities.Collection and removal of scrap generated after maintenance work.IT Skills: Must be a computer user with good knowledge of Auto card, M-Excel, Power Point and word.Job Skills: Must have knowledge in the mechanical maintenance of Cement Plant machineries like belt conveyors, Screw conveyors, Separator, Vertical Roller mills. Ball mills, kiln, Cooler/filter bags,Hydraulic system. Pneumatics systems, Air blowers, Air Sluices, Air Slides, Chain bucket elevators, DPC, Hammer crusher, Stacker & reclaimers etc.Qualification: Industrial Training Institute andlor OND in mechanical engineering.The Person: Not more than 35 years. ,Proactive, Self motivated Discipl ine, Assertive, Analytical, very Energetic with good team leadership skills and must be a team player.Experience: Minimum of 10 years and should have practical experience related to maintenance activities like drive alignments, bearing replacement and checking the condition of equipment stated above. Experience in modern industrial plant is preferred.
7.) Production Supervisor (CODE 1A 007)

Responsibilities
The person will among other Responsibilities Implementation of best practices of daily shift leader routine.Coaching of shift leaders to achieve best efficiency of daily work on well organised manner.Providing leadership and technical expertise on production related issues.Maintaining work safety and ensuring daily house keeping priority.Scheduling of shift leaders and coordination of daily shift planning in production team and between department.IT Skills: Job Skills: Must have good technical knowledge about cement production, knowledge and practice of daily shift routines ability to transfer knowledge, ability to work well in a structured organisation and ability to work under pressure.Qualification: BSc/HND or Masters in Chemical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering:The Person: Not more than 35 years. Proactive, self motivated, disciplined, assertive, analytical, very energetic with good team leadership skills and must be a team player.Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years and must have worked in a similar position in cement industry.
