Penhall Consulting Limited a foremost management consultancy company is recruiting personnel for a Non-Govemmental Organization (NGO) focused on leadership grooming, entrepreneurship, good governance and socio-economic development, based in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria. The organization which run several institutional and donor funded initiatives is currently scaling up its activities and therefore require the seNices of staff with relevant qualifications and cognate experience to fill the following positions:

1.)  Associtate Director (programmes)

The Associate Director (Programmes) will be responsible for the overall projects/programmes management of the organization, including the following specific duties:
Developing Concept papers and proposals on local & international CallsProviding leadership in managing international & local programmesProviding expertise in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) projectsInvolved in training and capacity building initiativesDeveloping viable areas of networking and partnership buildingGenerating new ideas for corporate development and resource mobilization.Conduct socio-economic research and facilitate stakeholder engagementsl community interfaceRequirements
Masters degree in Social Sciences or any other relevant field. PhD would be an added advantage.At least 15 years work experience, 8 of which must be in the development (3rd) sector.Experience in conducting multi disciplinary research & stakeholder engagementsExperience in conducting baseline surveys and needs assessmentDemonstrate experience in various key Sustainable development indices such as Community Driven Development (CDD),SLA,PRA,SCA, etcExceflent in interpersonal and team building skillsExcellent in written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate high level of creativity and innovativenessDemonstrate values of integrity, honesty and hard workConversant with Microsoft packages and SSPS.Candidate must not be more than 45 years of age.
2.) Senior Manger (Programmes)

The senior Manager (Programmes) will be responsible for managing programmes of the Organization, including the following specific duties: Provide technical support in developing Concept papers and proposals on local & international CallsProvide technical framework for effective and efficient management of international & local programmesProvide technical support in projects monitoring and evaluation mechanismDeveloping programme work plans and calendar of activitiesBuild capacity of subordinatesCarry out development research activities and community interfaceRequirements
Masters degree in Social Sciences or any other relevant fieldAt least 12 years work experience, 6 of which must be in the development sector.Strong knowledge in conducting baseline surveys and needs assessmentExperience of various key sustainable development indices such as Community Driven Development (CDD),SLA,PRA,SCA, etcExcellent in interpersonal skillsExecellent in written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate values of integrity, honesty and hard workConversant with Microsoft packages and SSPS.Candidate must not be more than 40 years of age.
3.) Programme Officers

The programme officers will assist in developing and implementing programmes, including the following specific duties.
Carrying out day to day project implementation and review.Development of competitive project concepts and proposals,Lend support in carrying out field research and other development research activitiesRequirements First degree in social sciences or any other relevant field,At least 3 years work experience in the development tn sectorExcellent in interpersonal skiffsExcellent in written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrate values in integrity, honesty and hard work.Conversant with Microsoft packagesCandidate must not be more than 35 years of age.
