JOB TITLE: BURSAR
LOCATION: BAUCHI, NIGERIA
ORGANISATION: ABUBAKAR TATARI ALI POLYTECHNIC, BAUCHI – NIGERIA

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• The Bursar is responsible to the Rector on all financial matters in the Polytechnic.
• He is the custodian of the Polytechnic’s financial records and plans organize and coordinate the operation of the financial system of the Polytechnic.

QUALIFICATION:
• Candidates should possess a good honours degree/HND in Accounting or Finance from a recognized institution of higher learning with at least 18 years post-qualification cognate experience preferably in an institution of higher learning plus registration with a recognized professional accounting body.
• Above all he/she must be a person of high integrity.

TERMS OF APPOINTMENT
1. The appointment is for an initial period of four (4) years and is eligible for re-appointment for another period of four (4) years only.
2. The salary attached to the post is according to the Polytechnic Scheme of Service.
3. The candidate appointed will be entitled to an official car with a driver, rented accommodation and other benefits as specified in the Polytechnic Condition of Service.
