Job Title: Logistics Advisors (x7)Location:Abia, Adamawa, Bayelsa, Borno, Jigawa, Rivers, YobeParticipate in the devebpment and implementation of Axios work plan for projectsProcess the request for HIV/AlDS medicines supply from the Health Facilitles (HF) and order same from the Axios Central Warehouse.Support the Improvementofdata qualityatthe NFs Ina sustainable mannerPeriodically conduct data quality assessment at HFs to ensure continuous progressive data quality improvement.Provide technical supportand capacity building for staff of the HFs, SMOH and CMSMonitoring and coordinating qualltyassurance for the Inventory Management System.Providing technical support in decentralization of services to selected primary health care facilitiesSupport HF Laboratories in setting up a functional Logistics Management Information SystemPerform any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications, experiences and skillsA degree in Pharmacy.3-5 years experience in Pharmacy or Logistics management.Experience In the area of HIV/AIDS is added advantageProject management and practical experience in health care related projects requiredExperience with the government system and dynamics of working with NGOs and private partiesGood understanding of Health sector especially in the areas of HIV / AIDS as a devebpmental Issue and the Socio-economic parameters involved in Nigeria and world overExperience In logistics management and abllity to work with Multi-disciplinary teams.Dynamic personality with initiative and flexibility.Excellent spoken and written EnglishMust have organlzational and strong computer skills
Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation OfficParticipate in the overall M&E strategic planning activities and work plan development and reviewsCoordinate the preparation of reports: monthly and quarterly reports, semi-annual and annual program reports, and any other required program/indicator reportsEnsure that all relevant M&E documents are organized and updatedBe responsible for LMIS data quality assessmentsTrack and analyze program monitoring indicators for early warning signals and effective decision makingParticipate in scheduled Monitoring and supervisory visitsParticipate in the development and review of Data Collection ToolsParticipate in all data management processes and procedures and provide feedback to appropriate technical leads to support program deliverableConducting supply chain performance assessment and also needs assessment and generating Supply Chain Performance reportPerform other duties as assigned by the Director Monitoring and EvaluationFirst degree in Pharmacy. Laboratory Science, Social Science, or ManagementMinimum of three years professional experience in monitoring health programsExperience in designing data collection tools and M&E systems for public health programsExperience with HIV/AlDS, reproductive health. TB, and/or malaria control programs is strongly preferredExperience with health commodity procurement and/or supply management and logistics is strongly preferredExcellent analytical and presentation skills using MS Office package with advance knowledge of MS ExcelAbility to support development of scientific papers for pair reviewGood knowledge of statistical Software package (SPSS and Epi-info etc)Ability to work under minimal supervision independently and as part of a team
The Job involves extensive travels locally up to 40% of the time
