Reporting to the Project Manager, the role is responsible for project control and reporting responsibility during all phases of the contract.Key responsibilities will include;

- Preparation of evaluations of the project status based on interpretation of reports, be responsible for the development and maintenance of the project schedule.
- Interface with the project team and task managers to define scope of work in the development and update of detailed schedules, cost information, and identification of variances from the original plan.
- Assist in the creation/modification of budget data.
- Analyse project schedule progress, performance and identify developing problem areas.
- Analyse critical path and restraints to determine the effect of changes to the schedule.
- Advise management of risks that may affect project profit, costs, schedules and client relations.
- Support the Project Management team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems.
- Supports the project team in the development and maintenance of any periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) status reports to keep management and/or owner informed on the project progress. These reports may include labor productivity, schedule status, financial analysis, Cost Performance Reports and earned value curves reports on either direct or indirect engineering/construction activities that are a part of the work.
- Prepares standard earned value-based reports, including schedule updates, Cost Performance Reports (CPR) and earned value curves.
- Coordinate with Construction Project Controls personnel in the development of Project Controls information (construction schedules, cost), and incorporation of data into the overall project cost & schedule reports.
Requirements :

Experience of planning/scheduling and cost engineering experience in an engineering and construction environment, including earned value (cost performance index/schedule performance index) and baseline (change) management.
- Experience with Primavera Project Planner, MS Access, Word and Excel.
- In depth working knowledge of Oil and Gas and/or Petrochemical cost control and scheduling techniques and reporting methods.

£450 per day, rotation 75 days on 21 off, 10 hour working days, 6 days a week. Single accommodation with full boarding provided.
