They are currently looking for a Head of Quality Control, based on site in Nigeria As Head of Quality Control your main responsibilities will include: * Oversee EPSCC CONTRACTOR during the Construction, (fabrication, erection and pre-commissioning) of the site works for the OML 58 Upgrade Phase 1 Project. * Support the Site Project Manager and the Project Head of Quality in the delivery of Quality and integrity management for the project in Nigeria. * Manage, Co-ordinate and allocate COMPANY (QC personnel, Inspectors and specialists to specific tasks during the Construction, fabrication, Installation and pre-commissioning) activities. * Review and approve contents of CONTRACTOR Quality Control and Inspection procedures including Inspection and Test Plans ITP(s) * Ensure that all equipment/plant arriving at site is in "as shipped condition" and in good working order * Attend and approve CONTRACTOR qualification tests (WPQR, WQT, NDT etc) * Supervise and co-ordinate COMPANY Hold/ Monitor/Witness /Review inspection activities * Work with Site Project Manager and Project Head of Quality to resolve all quality issues on site. * Monitor and communicate adequately to Project Head of Quality all non-conformities on site and subsequent corrective actions. * Coordinate pre-mobilization checks of construction Equipment as per Site rules and maintain up to date register of construction equipments. * Ensure accurate reporting of all Quality Control activities within Company project organization. * Follow site safety rules, practices and assist site team in promoting a culture of safety on the site. * Assist the Project Head of Quality in the Preparation of COMPANY final dossier for hand over to the Operations Group * Attend project meetings as required * Liaise with other disciplines for Quality Control and Inspection matters on site * Evaluate EPCSS Contractor Quality Control Qualifications, Experience and Skills required: * Substantial experience in Oil & Gas Plant construction or upgrade operations, with Considerable experience either as a QC team leader or Head of QC on Oil & Gas plant construction * Qualifications in welding inspection, coating, painting, UT, MPI and DP will be considered a plus. * Significant and proven experience as a Team leader specifically in QC Management is desired. * Extensive experience of piping, welding, hydrostatic testing and pre- commissioning processes required. * Good knowledge of Instrumentation, electrical, mechanical and rotating equipment required. * IRCA Lead Auditor qualification or IRCA Lead Auditor training desirable This is a contract position. Project Control Manager - Nigeria

Reporting to the Project Manager, the role is responsible for project control and reporting responsibility during all phases of the contract.Key responsibilities will include;- Preparation of evaluations of the project status based on interpretation of reports, be responsible for the development and maintenance of the project schedule. - Interface with the project team and task managers to define scope of work in the development and update of detailed schedules, cost information, and identification of variances from the original plan. - Assist in the creation/modification of budget data. - Analyse project schedule progress, performance and identify developing problem areas. - Analyse critical path and restraints to determine the effect of changes to the schedule. - Advise management of risks that may affect project profit, costs, schedules and client relations. - Support the Project Management team in maintaining timely and effective change management processes, procedures and systems. - Supports the project team in the development and maintenance of any periodic (daily, weekly, monthly) status reports to keep management and/or owner informed on the project progress. These reports may include labor productivity, schedule status, financial analysis, Cost Performance Reports and earned value curves reports on either direct or indirect engineering/construction activities that are a part of the work. - Prepares standard earned value-based reports, including schedule updates, Cost Performance Reports (CPR) and earned value curves. - Coordinate with Construction Project Controls personnel in the development of Project Controls information (construction schedules, cost), and incorporation of data into the overall project cost & schedule reports. Requirements :Experience of planning/scheduling and cost engineering experience in an engineering and construction environment, including earned value (cost performance index/schedule performance index) and baseline (change) management. - Experience with Primavera Project Planner, MS Access, Word and Excel. - In depth working knowledge of Oil and Gas and/or Petrochemical cost control and scheduling techniques and reporting methods.£450 per day, rotation 75 days on 21 off, 10 hour working days, 6 days a week.
